Not many here are saying that but sometimes my best pitcher isn’t in and I go with someone else for that game. Atleast in football I can always return to my starter if the change doesn’t spark the team like I hope it will.

I think Deboer rides with Ty no matter what.

Ty has talent

He does but Deboer needs an exceptional QB, a stone cold assassin, to run this offense. Ty is an emotional guy who started cracking after the Missouri game.

He plays the whole game and Bama gets embarrassed.

LSU fans were all psyched when their backup replaced Nuss...until they saw him play

The amount of cope... it's truly scary how you guys will lie to yourselves, make up things and do anything but face the plain reality looking at you.

it's truly fascinating and a case study in psychoanalysis how a group of strangers can rally behind one guy, their horse, so to speak, and put so much faith and stock in them that they are totally blind to reality.
It's amazing the excuses they make for a semi pro football player making 800+K per year. It's as if Ty is a close relative of theirs.

I'm convinced Ty could come out, have 8 seconds to throw, overthrow a wide-open receiver straight into the arms of a DB who returns it for a pick 6 and they would find every excuse available to blame someone, or something else. The receiver ran the wrong route, the grass was too short, too high, Grubbs should be calling more running plays, the wind was blowing, etc.
They are vested in Ty! it's kind of admirable, in a way, and also kind of sad.

t was not a coincidence that THE Ohio State only scored 10 points with their OC gone and Ryan Day calling plays for the first time in a few years. I

Have to give Indiana credit for confusing the heck out of Julian Sayin.

Unless Ty gets healthy and goes on a run like he did after the FSU loss, we won’t be making it out of Norman alive.

I hate to be pessimistic (I'm mostly pessimistic but I like to call myself a realist) but Bama is not likely winning that game.
Imagine a frigid windy night in Norman with wide eyed Ty going up against that defense. They rattled the frick out of him the first time and that was in front of a friendly crowd. Add in the issues with our not so special teams the last few weeks and I could see Oklahoma doing just enough on offense to pull out a 13-3 or 13-6 type score.

Aren't many Tua's out there sitting on the bench.

Number 12 is going to be better than Tua.

Throwing Mack or Russell in there against that defense with how little playing time they've gotten this year sounds like a bad idea.

They could go out there and throw a pick 6 or something right?
