No. Do you root for our rivals to have success?

TTU v. Bama is a two black knights tilting at one another saying “tis but a flesh wound.”

I wasn't rooting for anything. Just telling you how it is.

The way rivals acted during our Saban dynasty chilled conference pride in my soul. I’m not outright in “I hope they eat shite and die” mode but they’re going to be rooting against us in these situations so I’m not rooting for them in similar situations.

Call me selfish, but I root for SEC teams because it increases the amount of money Bama receives and reduces the amount of money other conferences receive. Every time an SEC team wins, our conference gets another “unit” of NCAAT money that gets distributed to all SEC schools.

The only teams I won’t root for in basketball are AU and a Will Wade coached LSU team. I’ll even stay neutral to mildly positive while Rick is at UT given his Bama roots and high character.

Since we’re in Tampa, I’d guess either around noon-ish or 2:30-ish. But who knows

ESPN showing it opened at Bama +1.5. Pretty tight line either way, but I expect it will drift to +2.5 if I had to guess.

Either way, keeping our S16 streak alive would be awesome.

Win and advance...put Philon in one of those hypobaric chambers or whatever to get him recharged for big minutes again. Probably going to need another 35+ from him to get to next weekend.

ESPN has moved 3 full points to Bama -1.5. That’s a significant move in just a couple hours…hope whoever is laying the dough is correct

Watched the recording on YTTV. It was a closer game than the final score. However, the supporting cast stepped up big time in the final 5 minutes.

Went a lot like how Texas Tech's game vs Akron was earlier. Think they were up only five and then just had a late surge to pull away.

Sunday's game could be one for the ages.
