They won’t get rid of it but there’s got to be some restrictions and rules. This free-for-all is not sustainable. Not even the NFL allows this shite.

Time to do away with the old thinking in college sports.
Time to do away with eligibility rules. As long as you're enrolled, you can play until you're 30.
Allow players to enter the draft and come back to school if they don't like their team, or if they can make more money in college.
Lean in to this semi-pro style and just start competing with the NFL. frick it.
