They will use their “7up” like Bill Oliver would do with the Bama D, and show 4 across on the back-end but a lot of times it’s actually zone and they bail out of it.
The puzzling thing to me, is all the (telegraphed) man-coverage on 1st and 2nd down and staying in it even when motion removes the alley defender which allowed FSU to have success on the ground by getting to the (undefended) perimeter.
Hopefully, he will get out of it and go back to doing what they’ve always done
