I believe as long as there is 30 mins left, they will let it go to game.
60 mins now. So if it passes before that mark it should stay on schedule.

In 1974 I was in the fifth grade. Alabama came in undefeated against Florida State who had the longest losing streak in the nation at that time. I think it was 30 something games if I recall. Bucky Berry hit a field goal that was around 40 yards give or take in the last minute or so of the game to win. The game was on the radio, and I couldn’t stay in the room with my dad listening to the game because it would’ve been earth shattering had we lost to me. I remember being on my knees at my desk in my bedroom, listening to the game from down the hallway. When Bucky Berry hit that field goal, I jumped up and ran into the den and my dad was jumping up and down. Just over a year later, he passed away. Don’t take things for granted as you watch these games with your family. RollTide! and let’s go out there and leave no doubt today!

They stopped the game clock. The announcer said there has to be 30 mins of no lightning reported to start.

Yes definitely in a delay.
This is gonna be one of *those* days too. A lot of stuff still north of Tuscaloosa dropping south that could drop a bolt.

Yeah official time to start was 2:45. The last delay was 2:20 ish. So add 30 mins of no lightning to start. Rinse and repeat.

So if lightning isn’t detected again we probably start around 3 from where we left off. It’s definitely cooler in here now
