Former Bama OL, Steve Sprayberry, who played for Bear and was part of the wishbone

Boys passed away today at the age of 70. Was a starting OL in the early 70's and hailed from Sylacauga, Al.

Recall him well from listening to games

What happened? My dad used to be friends with him, but hadn't heard he passed away.

Sylacauganews.com just states he died at a hospital after a brief illness, and gives some of his biographical info.

I met Steve during registration for classes at Alabama. We graduate teaching assistants did the grunt work during registration.
I remember Steve from his large physical size, and his very friendly personality.
