He finally didn’t hesitate on the runs against Oklahoma and did well.

In the SECCG he took off on one of the first drives, might have even been a zone read keep, and got absolutely destroyed by a DL. That looked like one he was gonna remember for awhile.

Something I noticed and I think Ty finally did as well.

Take off when the play breaks down. He is going to break off a long run soon. I’m telling you. He finally didn’t hesitate on the runs against Oklahoma and did well.

Yeah that one he made for the first down did a little damage to them mentally.

It has that in his locker box he just needs to pull it out at times. Those are the kind of plays that can kill a defense confidence and have them lunching about trying to grasp shadows

One or two first down QB keepers is catastrophic for safeties and DCs.

It causes the secondary to pause on their reads and eventually DCs have to keep someone in the box to account for the QB all of which changes the spacing in zones, impacts the pass rush by preventing edge guys from getting wide and past the QB as that opens run lanes, leaves guys on coverage islands and ultimately results in the receiver getting that step or two they need to give the QB a window.

Theres a reason why OCs look for accurate mobile QBs, the combination is awful to deal with defensively.
