We have hit a tough stretch.. Hey it happens.. We lost a hard fought, physically draining game to a VERY good Ole Miss team(were in a good position to win). Just beat a very much improved Arkansas team who had a week off and were WELL prepared.

With that said, we are still in the playoff hunt, 5-1, and we're still an elite program. EVERYONE that we play will bring their A-Game against us!!!! I mean beating Bama is HUGE for other teams and they bring their best.

Everyone just relax and support our team!!! It's easy to cheer and give praise when we're kicking people's asses but are we going to still cheer when we are somewhat down??

Mark my words, this team will get it together and we will be fine..

Roll Tide....

This team has some DEEP issues, whether it be schematically or something else. Things need to be resolved. Alabama is staring down the barrel of an 8-4 season. If Alabama loses to A&M next week, shite will fall apart.

Maybe Arkansas is improved over the absolute train wreck they were last year. They are still a team that hasn't won a conference game in 2 years though. They are like 73rd in total defense and 30th in total offense. Doesn't seem like a very impressive opponent to me. End of the day, we looked really bad playing against a very mediocre opponent.

I feel like bumping my "this isn't a championship team" thread after a game like this.

There is nothing I saw tonight that indicates that we are on our way to 16. The only thing that would keep us in the top ten after tonight is the team name on our jerseys.

How good was Alabama's front seven? 18 Arkansas runs went for 2 yards or less. 10 for no gain or negative yards.

This helps.

We've got our two toughest games left at home. A&M and LSU look way worse off then we are.

I'm sorry if I'm not ready to throw in the towel after a damn win.

Again, no one else has really solidified themselves except for the Mississippi teams.

We play State in BDS. Win, and we're in. 09 had a lot of ugly wins and they won the title.

Right now I'd predict State over Bama, but I can see us winning out the regular season with how we play at BDS.

I hope this was just a bad two weeks and we bounce back and tear arse in the SEC. But we all have to be honest and say this is a piss poor team compared to the "new" Alabama standard. I honestly hope Saban re-thinks the depth chart and stays out of Lane's way. We have so much talent, but so little discipline and technique.

Plus looking at State's schedule they will likely be undefeated heading into that game with a ton on the line. It would be nice to play the spoiler for once.

Okay. I take that back. Our run defense is out of control. Unfortunately our offense isn't even approaching adequate, and our qb play makes me long for the days of John Parker Wilson.

Dom Jackson needs to play at RG or RT. Shank, Brown, and Shep were all dominated.

We need Kelly back at Center with his experience.

Arie has improved this season, but still has way too many penalties.

We need to run behind C-Rob more.

The MSU game is winnable if we can stop committing the stupid turnovers. That's a big "if" right now though.

Arkansas was averaging almost 45 ppg.. We held them to 13 points... Our defense is damn good.. Special teams issues are correctable(not looking good at all, but correctable) and the offense will get it together(of that I am certain)...

I'm just hoping it is a 1st year QB struggling on the road and not some bigger issue. A&M's defense should provide our offense with a good opportunity to get some confidence back.

I wonder how much the poor rushing attack was due to TJ and Henry both being banged up.

I think everyone is casually looking over the fact that we've been hit with the injury bug pretty badly so far this season.

Like are we attempting to redshirt him or something?

Shepherd just doesn't get much push on the right side. Vogler, Ball, or Howard don't add much push either. I'd really like to see Greene get some work there.

He has played in garbage time this season, so no. Maybe he is still recovering from his camp injury.

Only problem is he is still raw in pass pro, but man he can blow open a run game.

The fact that it happened twice in a row is pretty foreboding. I am almost scared to see how he will look against fricking Tennessee.

The unfortunate part is that the SECCG and the playoffs, should we get there (insert Jim Mora playoffs meme) is that these games are going to be played away from home with likely far superior defenses to what we faced tonight.
