The fair question is why we didn't bench Milroe, but I don't think Ty was ready and I'm not sure KD could do it if he wanted to due to team dynamics.

I can’t think of a less risky pass than a bubble screen.

I think Prentice missed his block which absolutely cannot happen. The QB doesn’t have time to read, must simply turn and throw depending on the WR to impede any encroaching DB. If he can’t block him he’s got to tackle him or anything other than letting him through. Milroe got the blame but it wasn’t his fault.

The loss against OU this year sucks for sure. No way should we have lost that game - except for turning the ball over 3x at the most inopportune points in the game. But outside of the turnovers, we dominated OU on the stat sheet. I feel like the coaching staff (outside of the last drive/last 7 minutes of play)

The turnovers have been mentioned many times, I won't harp on them anymore. That last play, has been something I can't get out of my mind, however.

4th and 6, 55 seconds left to play, w/ ball located on the Bama 48, right hash of field. Bama w/ one timeout. Receiver runs a far-side out at the line to gain, giving the defender max time to react (one reason there are more pick sixes on this play than any other). Six yards becomes 20 for the throw as Ball lands on the left side numbers and rolls away, broken up by (this former corner's favorite) play... as DeBoer waves his hands.

And like that, w/ 50 seconds left, the game ends... not with a bang, but a whimper.

I am pleased with DeBoer, he has done as good job as one can, with so much pressure replacing the GOAT. And while there are still things to fix, I can’t look at this season and be mad. It’s an improvement over last year overall. And recruiting has continued to be pretty strong.

Coaching transitions can be so dicey. I’m just so glad we aren’t friggin LSU right now and that we didn’t have a chaotic situation replacing Saban. The way they have handled the whole coaching scenario and putting so much on the line for Kiffin. What an embarrassment to CFB. Not saying I believe in karma, but they’re gonna get so much bad karma from this, and the crash will rival the Kelly crash out.

OL/DL struggles were there for awhile. Losing multiple games with a loaded roster with Bryce Young/Will Anderson Jr. is nothing but a HUGE failure in coaching.

I agree to a point but late season injuries just crushed the offense. Definitely should have been another Natty.
