Do we know for a fact that it was Grubb who turned Saban down?

I'm starting to think Saban gave him the classic "we appreciate your time, but we've decided to go in a different direction" spiel and sent the frick head back to Washington.

I mean it wasn’t all on Grubb. I saw a lot of players schemed open and Ty wasn’t seeing the field.

Grubb is not nearly as bad as you people make him out to be. I softened on my stance on Wommack, since he got people to finally play their position. I will be curious to see how he does moving forward without as many DTs from Nick. But early results on Simmons is showing promise

Offense was mostly new guys, but the Grubb/DeBoer system is going to require much higher level OTs and QB play to be very successful.

I think we give them another two season to see where it all ends up

He has great protection and throws it late over the middle.

Do you know what easy read he missed?

Look to your left as the TE slides out WIDE OPEN for an easy +10 yards.

Just a reference point, if he doesn't rush that. Calms the frick down and just lightly throws to his late releasing TE safety outlet that's a +10 yard gain and we're in or near the redzone.

UGA never go up 14-0.

Ty is alway too emotional. Hes mentally slow. We have seen why he couldn’t pass milroe and milroe was awful. Yeah he can put the ball in places sometimes that are great. But 90% of the time he makes awful decisions. We were spoiled so long with great qb play.

I actually don't think he is "mentally slow". I think he can make all the reads but his nerves/emotions (to your point) is wayyyy too high. I don't know how many times you pan to him on the field. His eyes are huge and hair all shuffled.
