I just don't think we had/have the horses this year. We are a very good team but we have some glaring flaws. We aren't nearly as talented in the trenches as we are used to. We got thin at LB due to injuries. We sputter on offense too often. We had trouble getting pressure without blitzing.

But to answer the question yes it could. OL play has been shotty and some of that comes down to toughness and attitude. Also I think this puts our offense and Jalen under a microscope. The offensive staff will go over this film and have to do some serious soul searching(I pray).

Well I agree with everyone I don't think it's likely.

This team has heard the disrespect and apparently didn't respond, they sorta just validated it.

Probably just wishful thinking on my part.

Worst case scenario I see is we get put up against a Central Florida in some meaningless NY6 bowl game. They will have 0.0 desire to play that game.

The only fire any player will have under their asses would come from eating some bad Mexican food.

Yep. It’s too late for fires.

We played about as poorly as we could have and lost by only 12. Granted, Auburn could have scored more by being more agressive. Still, to play that poorly and only lose by 12 at Auburn, against the team playing the best football in the country says a lot about our coaches and talent level and heart.

We had won 24 straight games in the SEC, we've won like 70 straight against unrakned OOC teams.

We literally cannot win them all. I'm not happy we lost, but we made so many mistakes to blame it on any one olayer or unit is just silly.

The team just failed as a whole. Defense could not stop Stidham running or passing. We only 'stopped' them late because Gus quit passing.

This loss will help refocus the team and will let them know they aren't invincible.

Not this year. This team doesn't have it.

I'm kind of shocked at how many people are completely giving up on this team after one loss.

I wonder if Clemson, Oklahoma, Auburn, or UGA fans gave up on their teams after playing their shitty games, uninspired games this year? Its kind of pathetic guys.

You can downvote me all you want guys, but I'd rather hear your opinions on why other teams in the top 6 get a pass for losing to much shittier opponents. Saying that you don't want us to make the playoffs because you are scared that we would get beat is about as chicken shite as it gets.

Other than the fact that we are Alabama, what did you see on Saturday that looked remotely close to a championship caliber team? What makes you think that it would be any different were we to line up against Clemson or Oklahoma?

What did you see in Oklahoma after they barely scraped by a one win Baylor team, and after they lost to a shitty Iowa state team at home, that looked remotely close to a championship caliber team? And Clemson, when their defense got their shite pushed in by a shitty Syracuse team?

We played BY FAR our worst game in several seasons against AU on Saturday. It happens. Its happened to teams that are in front of us this year, to much lesser teams.

I am with Funky, we can do this. We need to run the offense Jalen can run and stop with the 1 foot in the pro style and 1 foot in RPO.

I will say it again. We are going to playoff if OSU beats wisky and most certainly if TCU beats okie. Btw TCU held Okie scoreless for 2 quarters.

If the committee on Tuesday ranks us at 5 and ahead of OSU we are going folks. Better get your mind right.
