Hell, we need some quality big men on the D line and Ruffin qualifies. I’d read the Bama staff is a bit nervous about JJ Finch flipping to Tennessee after his visit to Knoxville this past weekend. Hopefully that doesn’t happen but you never know.

Clearly they know more than I do but just by looking at Finch film i wouldnt be upset if he goes to Tenn. He doesnt stand out doesnt do anything special imo.

The really elite large DL probably command equally big NIL deals, and are at a premium.
Maybe we'll get some proven guys from the portal, rather than gambling on freshmen?

We have to spend money on more than just QBs, WRs, and cornerbacks eventually. Not going to be fun to watch with all of these 280 pound lineman with these 200 pound linebackers.

This is what BOL is reporting. We're supposedly done with high school prospects in this class.

The only potential addition would be Samson Gash and that would come at the likely expense of losing Brian Williams.

They are saying we are only taking 3 high school WRs. They put out an article yesterday saying Cederian Morgan and Owen Cabell are locked in.

I feel like we're close on coming back around on the edge to the place we were during the Anderson and Turner period but this scheme really needs a dominant 3-tech DT to work well. London Simmons may grow into that guy to be quite honest. However, you'd love to have a few men who could play that role.

I really like Gash. Really impressive speed, shifty and great hands.

London Simmons I believe was around 340 last year a lost a lot of weight. Don't think they want really big guys for whatever reason. The defense is just much better when Tim Keenan is in.

Anybody have the visitors list for this weekend? It's supposed to be an incredible list.

Can't answer your question because I don't pay for info but I believe Sage is the only official. Saw they had to turn down recruits because so many will be there.

From what I hear OSU is making a big push as well so while he might be a bit of a project I don’t think TN and OSU would be pushing if people didn’t see something on tape that made them think he had elite upside.

Was listening to a podcast and it’s insane.

Something like 8 of the top 25 for the ‘27 cycle will be there, 4-5 5* guys and a who’s who of the blue chip prospects along with the top half of our current verbals for ‘26.

Easily the biggest recruiting night of the year and getting it under the lights if we can get a win would be a huge deal.

Brian Williams is going to take a visit to USF.

Apparently his Senior season wasn't as good as we were expecting so it looks like Samson Gash may be taking his spot in the class.

I saw Alabama Public TV was airing the game between Vestavia and Auburn.
My wife saw the score at the bottom of the screen and said, “Auburn’s playing high schoolers now?”
