We'll probably hold a handful of spots open for either guys who blow up in their senior seasons or decommit from struggling programs whose coaches are on the hot seat.

I agree we are only gonna get (hopefully) 2 of the 3 WRs, but man if we pull that haul of defensive line , that would be awesome . I wish Offord would flip , good list though ! Can we take 32 ? I think you had 32 . I don’t think we would get Jackson and Lockhart , but Lockhart is another great linebacker sideline to sideline . Way too many linebackers ! ???????

Haha I don’t feel like that was scorched earth. Just seems cheap to trash a coach or coaches doting on you. I don’t think DeBoer is going to pay more than market value either. Whereas Ohio state seems to be raising market value for everyone else based on what they’ve spent in the portal coupled with recruiting. Hope Offord is more in the mold of the kids coming here for a combo of solid pay, winning, and a balanced future and not just going with the max offer where the parents are heavily involved. Reminds me of the tunsil deal a little

Wasn't about money. His dad said that his (benchwarmer, I suppose) nephew played for Linguist, so he knows that Mo is a shitty coach and person, unlike the guy at OSU.
He sounds like a douchebag, but I don't know if dad is the deciding factor for Offord or not.

New staff probably thought that was our weakest group and I was under the impression that was our deepest.

I think we're going to have a lot of attrition there in the next year or two. Additionally, the scheme is vastly different so the body type needs may necessitate the heavy focus on backers.

2024 defensive lineman signee Steve Mboumoua did not qualify. He will enroll at Southwest Community College in Summit, Mississippi and try to enroll at Alabama in January.
This could be part of the plans for the DL signees for the 2025 class.
