That list rivals the Clinton hit list over the last 30 years.

That's two today. Not good. However, Taulia has gotten a couple of new Bama CB picks.

One of nation’s top defensive ends getting recruited by Tide commit

Lloyd Summerall is rated as the #11 weakside defensive end in the 2019 class.

Lloyd Summerall interested in Alabama

Alabama signed three Jack [and SAM] linebackers in the 2018 class in 5-star prospect Eyabi Anoma and 4-star prospects Jordan Davis and Cameron Latu. The Tide are planning on adding several more Jack [and SAM] linebackers in the 2019 class, and Lloyd Summerall is one of the team’s top targets.

Summerall, a 4-star weakside defensive end from Auburndale (Fla.) High School, visited Tuscaloosa last month and said Alabama is one of the schools he’s strongly considering along with Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Nebraska and Ohio State.

“I feel good about Alabama,” Summerall told SEC Country. “It’s one of the top schools in the nation. You get to compete against the best every day, and that’s what I want to do.”

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound prospect said he’s in touch with defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi at least once a week. He plans on making a return trip to Alabama in the coming months.

“It’s Alabama,” Summerall said. “Just being there, you feel like a champion. It’s definitely a feeling I got.”

The nation’s No. 11 weakside defensive end won’t make his decision until National Signing Day. He’s not sure if his decision will come during the December early signing window or the regular one in February because he’s still trying to figure out if he’s going to enroll early.

Summerall is a 7-on-7 teammate of Alabama defensive back commit Brendan Gant. Gant told SEC Country that Summerall is one of the main targets he’s trying to recruit for the Tide.

“We have our conversations sometimes,” Summerall said. “He understands that I’m still trying to evaluate every school, though.”

As for official visits, Summerall said he plans to take his in the fall and possibly after the college football season because he won’t make a decision until December at the earliest. Alabama is in the mix to receive one of the five visits.

“They have a good chance,” Summerall said. “I have to give them a shot, of course. With them in the running, you have to have them as one of your top schools. I’m looking for a school that can get me to the NFL, and if I feel like Alabama can do that for me, they’ll be in the mix.”

Outside of Summerall, 5-star prospects Owen Pappoe and Nolan Smith, and 4-star prospects Marcel Brooks, Ani Izuchukwu, Mohamoud Diabate and Derrick McClendon are the team’s top targets at Jack and outside linebacker. The Tide also have a commitment from 4-star prospect King Mwikuta.

Trey Sanders gets recruited by NFL star

Trey Sanders, the nation’s No. 1 running back from IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), de-committed from Alabama the night the Crimson Tide played Clemson in the Sugar Bowl. He told SEC Country shortly after backing off his pledge that Alabama was still his top school. That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.

Sanders visited Miami this past weekend and told our own David Wilson of DieHards that he doesn’t have a list of top schools anymore.

“I like Miami a lot, but I really ain’t got no top schools, nothing like that going on,” Sanders said. “But I’d say Miami’s pretty good. I like Miami a lot. It’s close to home.”

He also got a recruiting pitch from free-agent tight end Jimmy Graham, a former star for the Miami Hurricanes.

The Tide would love to add Sanders to their 2019 class, but I don’t see it happening at this time. I see Sanders staying in Florida and playing for either Florida, Florida State or Miami.

Alabama’s top running back targets include Sanders, 5-star prospect Quavaris Crouch and 4-star prospects Tyrion Davis and John Emery Jr.

He's absolutely a shill. His public persona is that he's a "truth seeker". That's nonsense. He's an entertaining person with a few entertaining guests. You will get some truth mixed in with disinformation on his show. I'm not referring to his guests. I'm referring to him.

It's been a few years since I researched it. Google was my route to sources. I'm highly skeptical of everything that mainstream media reports. They don't give a shite about reporting the truth -- they're controlled by those in power. I don't want to spend time digging it up for you. Nor do I want to derail this thread anymore than I already have.

I'm not blown away by Sanders as a RB. As an Athlete, sure. I'd love to have him at Bama. But, like several on this board, he's not at the very top of my RB list. IMO, Crouch and Cain are better RBs right now. Maybe Sanders will develop the vision and other attributes, though. His upside is certainly very high.

2019 LB target for Alabama, Auburn announces decision date

quote:

One of the top linebackers in the Class of 2019 has announced when he'll make his college decision.

Owen Pappoe, a 4-star prospect from Grayson (Ga.) High in suburban Atlanta, announced on Twitter that he'll make his college commitment on May 5.

The 6-foot, 210-pound Pappoe holds offers from Alabama, Auburn and more than 30 other schools, but Georgia seems to be his leader. Auburn first offered Pappoe in April 2015, becoming the first 2019 prospect offered by the Tigers.

Since 2015, Pappoe has been considered one of the top prospects in the Class of 2019.

A 4-star prospect, according to 247sports, Pappoe is currently ranked as the nation's No. 1 outside linebacker and No. 14 national recruit.

Georgia bound.
