Tim: "CB is always a follow the leader type of thing. Nobody better on the UGA beat than Rusty. So when he puts his stamp on it a lot of people follow. That doesn't mean most of them know anything. Because they don't. LOL But Rusty does and he's not calling it 100% yet."

Uga has become so insufferable. We will win some and lose some against them, but I just gotta roll my eyes when a recruit visits and they start crying he’s a lock or it’s gonna be close to the finish. Hopefully we’ll keep yesterday’s momentum up!

Do you think they are like Cooper, Waddle, Najee and guys like that who would have been on the field regardless of where they went?
I don't think Worsham is anywhere near that. At least not yet.

I haven't noticed any losing going on especially to uga.

They are calling Sanders and Dean a lock to them now also.. it’s like a roach you keep stepping on and it won’t stomp kicking it legs. I figured they would be quiet after last year, but they were louder.. than we beat them again. And they are getting louder.. how many years has it been since they have won anything? 30-40 years? I understand they are happy about Kirby’s recruiting.. but come on. You still have to win on the field

We have some good Georgia fans that post here, but the large majority are terrible. I'm not sure where the arrogance comes from.

Kirby is a fantastic recruiter in the absolute best position you could be in to dominate recruiting without dominating on the field. He just needs to lock down the best prospects from GA and he can put up legendary classes without winning anything. Georgia has the weakest in state competition you could ask for. He also plays in the SEC East which has let him essentially coast to 11 wins at least every year.
He is a solid coach. I think people like to put him in the Alabama/Clemson tier a little too early though.

I've been looking everywhere but I have yet to see a single UGA fan on a forum calling Sanders a lock.
Have we got our foot in the door? Sure
Have I heard good things since his visit? Yes
Have we taken him from Florida or Bama? Nope, not yet..
It's healthy for any fans to have some enthusiasm for their team, guys. The sport wouldn't be the same without it.

I don’t get the Sanders optimism. He’s not going to commit to UGA off one visit. They’re delusional that most of these kids actually want to play for UGA over Alabama.

Enthusiasm and arrogance are two different things

That sounds like arrogance instead of enthusiasm or optimism.

You're right, he probably shouldn't have posted that on the Georgia board..........

Mostly speaking of last year and potentially Webb tomorrow.

Yeah you can kindly gtfo. When y’all actually beat us on the field and beat us for a recruit that we have been favored for as long as Sanders. Then you can talk shite. Until then, go jerk it to Herschel Walker

Can you get me access to the Georgia board ? I'd like to discuss recruiting and share my thoughts on kirby and Georgia football from time to time.
I have a lot of friends over there I'd like to be able to visit.

I dont have any pull there. I'm not an old school poster. I dont want to step on any toes over here either.
I'm not in my lane over here, and I really would just like to discuss relative info for both fanbases.
I dont speak for all UGA fans though, just as TideSaint doesn't speak for all Alabama fans.

So here's my two cents on Webb.
It's hard to ignore the smoke that the people are CB'ing him to UGa. Makes me hesitate to even say anything, as nobody likes to look silly. But..
Based on what I have gathered from two different individuals (TI and a former player... everyone knows who I'm referring to.. neither of which would give a homer prediction) over the past couple days, I'd lean to him going to Bama. Him going to UGa wouldn't be a big surprise to either of the two people that I mentioned, but have seen where the optimism on the UGa front is coming from. And also where Bama's "relative" confidence throughout has come from.
UGa's comes from his dad's side of the family in the ATL area. Folks around Oxford, his mom's side of the family, and other recruits' families have thought Bama for a while. Of course, some of that could be just because he grew up a Bama fan. I don't know. But still...
Also, unless Pittman got back in LATE Sunday night and did a quick in-home, he was NOT having an in-home with Webb Sunday night. He was in WV visiting with Darnell Wright.
So it's kind of tough for me to make a sure prediction. USUALLY where there's smoke, there's fire. But TI and the other individual (Who has a ridiculous amount of good sources) definitely know what they're talking about. If not for all the UGa smoke today, I'd say 65-35 Bama. But I'll grant that it's hard to ignore.
One other thing. If he has told the staffs of his decision, he will be going to Bama. CNS has proven on a handful of occasions that they've been able to keep a secret from the mods and "insiders" when a recruit privately commits. I don't believe Kirby or his staff are capable of that. That being said, it sounds like there's a very high chance that he hasn't informed anyone.
