He would have to sit a year. Not really talking about next year. I think Najee, Robinson, Ford, Sanders and whomever else will be fine for 2019. Thinking about 2020 when our running back numbers start to thin. Probably him coming after a JUCO cause I doubt we have a scholarship in this class. I know we were high on him and was looking at him for the Kenyan Drake type role, until Gus got his incompetent claws in him.

I know that Auburn people were saying he was toxic, but a lot of that seemed to be based around Gus giving promises of guaranteed play time to get him to come and then turning around saying he would have to compete for it. From what I read the relationship between Martin and Auburn didn't really go South until he saw that players he felt he outperformed in practice were getting 4-5x as many snaps as he was.
I wouldn't mind him coming in 2020 after a redshirt season to try and get with the program.

Saban's in-home with Nakobe Dean has been moved to Tue. Others: ATM on Sun, UGA & MSU on Mon, and OM earlier on Tue. Saban is Dean's last in-home visitor. Dean leaves Wed to begin practice for the AL-MS All-star game.

That seems very promising. Anything can happen, but now Saban gets the chance to close, and despite what Farrell insists, there is none better in this business.

Unless you are referencing him taking a scholly in the 2019 class I don't understand what you are talking about. We wanted him before and he has a skillset we like. I agree if he is taking up a scholarship for 2019 it is a no go, but depending on need I don't see why he wouldn't be worth it for 2020.

I wouldn't mind adding him into the mix. We are going to see attrition via transfers and position changes in that group no matter what, might as well get as much talent as possible.
Edit: At least one of these Db's/Metchie are going to end up at WR, possibly 2 unless we have a huge wave of attrition in the secondary. Might as well load up on athletic beasts who could switch sides/positions for us.

Honestly I feel bad for him if we don't have a spot for him. The Big 12 is where college DBs go to die and Ohio State needs a complete overhaul of thier secondary, both players and coaches. It could be a rough 3-5 years for him at either place.
