Our O-line depth is very solid and just as we had to wait until the development of 70 & 74 .
Thats what Webb has to buy into too.
Ive been touting this kid Lashley since I watched he along with 74,70 last year against Vandy at scrub time.
His biggest hurdle is conditioning and hopefully he's gotten better two years into the program.
Maybe Webb is just a kid that see's a better chance to start sooner at UGA.
Although UGA in the SECCG game had a senior at center flanked by two freshman at left OG,LT
with two Soph at RG,RT .
Yet Webb maybe thinks he plays sooner at UGA as an OG rather than at center.
Also Keep in mind what we already have depth wise and in the fold committed in this class.
Playing the best 5 o-linemen means depth charts don't mean your two at your position all the time.
I am not saying the kid Webb cant come in and take spot.I think he just feels bama wants him more at center
and UGA is losing there center without a Ekiyor already a year ahead in the program.
Hopefully we get webb but as others have said we have defensive possibilities still uncommitted that we need as well.
