Just read that Evan Neal and Trey Sanders will be visiting UGA this weekend. Probably doesn't mean much but passing the info on.

Isn't that what the industry did with "soft commit" and "hard commit". I totally understand your point about commitment in the larger usage of the word, but in recruiting it has had it's meaning shifted for a while now.

Trust I took a beating

I'm not saying you didn't take a beating, but iirc most were very high on Wandale Robinson and wanted him in the class. I like him a lot too, but months ago I questioned whether it made sense to take him (WRs in general) due to limited room and higher priority needs at other positions. I didn't get a beating for saying that, even tho they still wanted him. Now it appears to be ending up like I said it might -- no additional WRs.

Yes. I've added CT notation and links for the All-American games to that post and added a link to it on the top line of the 1st post in this thread. Here's a copy:

I just wish Wandale was our guy instead of Metchie and Keilan.

I wanted a combination of Wandale and Jameson Williams or Pickens.

At this point it's clear Metchie is a staff choice. We don't really need another WR desperately and Bolden/Ford fill the role that Robinson would be coming for.

I see Wandale as the same type player as Waddell. He probably knew he would sit for 2 years behind him. He can go to Neb. and be their Waddle as a freshman

I think Wandale Robinson would've come to Bama if we had room to take him. The staff has had to pass on some really good players in this recruiting cycle.

Is Jahleel for sure a TE for us or do the staff see him as a receiver who could play TE or WR?

Completely random but who’s the last good white wide receiver we had? I don’t recall. Maybe one day we will get one lmao

Andrew Bone checks all the boxes. He was a walk on WR during the dark times.
