We went ice skating and there was a line of people about 15 deep waiting to get SEC Champs t-shirts.

Tell ya what every D-line guy Bama signs this year has a chance to get real snaps next season. Ray and Mathis are the only guys with a lot of snaps that will return next year. Wynn and Barmore are raw with high ceilings but still unknown. Hopefully Sopsher(if we land him) and Dale who is underrated can come in and blow it up at the Nose.

Alfano seems the most likely to play a lot as a freshman. Dale, Alfano and Eboigbe will enroll in January. Young and Igraham will sign early too but enroll for Summer. Sopsher says he'll wait and sign in February, but I hope he'll sign early too and just keep it secret if he wants.

Sopsher, Alfano and Eboigbe will be ready to be in the rotation next year, IMO. It also helps that the latter 2 will be going through spring ball. Byron Young is physically ready to play, and I wouldn't be shocked if he got some PT next year as well.

We should be a lot deeper and have a solid rotation of Ray, Mathis, Wynn, Alfano, Sopsher, Eboigbe, and Barmore. I also wouldn't be shocked if Raekwon Davis returns to improve his draft stock.

Thibodeaux, Dean, Neal, Sanders and Webb.

Bogle will announce at the Army Game and J. Carter would have to make a decision soon if he wants to flip because he’s also an EE.

Ray is very VERY close to becoming a star. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a real force in the playoffs. He's really flashed a lot in the 2nd half of the season.

I've come close to saying Ray coming in for Buggs is like Dareus coming in for Deaderick.

Buggs is the better player right now, but Ray is flashing some elite ability. And that's with knowing Buggs is leading the team in sacks.

To be honest, Ray would probably have been the better choice than Buggs yesterday. A hobbled Buggs (which he clearly wasn't the same player... and should be MUCH better and back to his old self against OU) wasn't very effective yesterday.

This.

Buggs struggled mightily on Saturday.

Our Top Targets list (the 2nd post of this thread) notes which recruits will enroll and/or sign early.

- Saban and Banks MAY be visiting Jahleel Billingsley on Thursday.

It's looking like we may actually sign Turnage. Weird recruitment timeline feeling. Reminds me of Deionte Thompson's recruitment. Guy that commits early but it just kind of feels like won't stick and then nothing happens.

Thoughts on this quote from Rivals today?

If Locksley does get the Maryland job, that could be a blow to Alabama’s chances with IMG Five-star recruits Even Neal and Trey Sanders as Locksley is the lead recruiter for each of those high profile targets.

I doubt it. They both committed to Alabama the first time before Locksley was even an on the field coach.
