Thibodeaux has been difficult to read throughout his recruitment because the five-star defensive end does not give up a whole lot of what he’s thinking and he’s complimentary of all the top schools on his list.
Florida State absolutely seems to be slipping on his list as the Seminoles slog through a difficult season but at one time they were the team to beat.
The team to watch here is Oregon. He had a fantastic visit to Eugene - one that he said was even surprisingly great - and he liked what he saw from the coaching staff there especially Joe Salave’a.
USC has been on-again, off-again with Thibodeaux, Alabama could be interesting but a stretch and Florida seems to be slipping as well. The Ducks could be in a really good spot for the Oaks Christian standout.

To’oto’o is one of the most difficult prospects to read in the West, mainly because he rarely talks about his recruitment and there’s really no feel on where he will be headed.
Alabama has made him a top priority in this class and it makes sense that the Crimson Tide have the edge because defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi went to De La Salle as well.
That connection could be huge. But don’t count out the Pac-12 teams just yet as Cal is not giving up on him and Washington is making a run as well.

The visitor list for the 2018 version of the Iron Bowl is as impressive as you would expect. Seven official visitors, three of them five-stars, headline a contingent of prospects expected to be in Bryant-Denny Stadium to see if Auburn can upset an undefeated Alabama squad.
Although the Crimson Tide have the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class, they do not have a five-star currently committed. Running back Trey Sanders was previously committed to Alabama, and he returns to Tuscaloosa this weekend as one of those five-star official visitors.
The remaining list of official visitors for Alabama this weekend includes two prospects committed to other schools: Georgia five-star defensive end commit Nolan Smith and Texas A&M four-star linebacker commit Christian Harris. Additionally, class of 2019 five-stars Darnell Wright, Clay Webb and George Pickens, the latter being an Auburn commit, are expected at Saturday’s game as unofficial visitors.
After winning eight of the last 10 team recruiting titles, the Crimson Tide’s 2018 class sunk to seventh and did not win the SEC recruiting title for the first time since 2010. Success this weekend could go a long way toward Alabama making it nine of the last 12 team titles.

5-STARS ROLLING INTO TITLE TOWN
Alabama is sitting on the industry-generated 247Sports Composite’s No. 1 recruiting class and now they’re trying to run away with it. Nick Saban and his staff currently sit on 21 commits with what’s setting up to be a five-star finish with who they’ve locked in on for this stretch run.
Many of those names will be back in Tuscaloosa for the showdown with Auburn headlined by three five-star official visitors -- 247Sports Composite’s No. 1 recruit Nolan Smith who is currently a verbal to Georgia, along with his Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy teammates in top-ranked running back Trey Sanders and touted offensive tackle Evan Neal. The Crimson Tide are the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite for Sanders and Neal.
Other official visitors include two of Arizona’s best in Top247 defensive lineman Ty Robinson and Top247 cornerback Noa Pola-Gates.

I suppose some guys might give the staff their commitment this weekend or soon after, with it being kept secret until early signing day -- e.g., Sanders, Neal, Webb, Dean -- or until their all-star game -- e.g., Pola-Gates. Javon Baker and Chris Braswell are a couple of 2020 guys who might pull the trigger.
