Kirby is poor in evaluating and developing elite DLmen.

Kirby thought Johnny Dwight (who has played good football in limited snaps this year and last) and OJ Smith were the next Marcel Dareus.

His uncle, Edgerrin James, was a standout at Miami who totaled over 3,500 yards of offense in three years with the Hurricanes and got drafted with the fourth overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts.... In high school, Williams didn’t get to play much until his senior year, but he’s flourished now that he’s been given time to play. He’s the best athlete on his team, so he’s been playing quarterback for most of the season for Sebring. But even playing out of position, he’s shown some incredible play-making ability. Williams has great burst and isn’t easy to bring down. He sheds tackles with ease, and he’s just as elusive as he is tough. He looks bigger than his listed 5-foot-11, 210 pounds on recruiting services, but he glides down the field with some good speed. He possesses solid vision and can read defenders well. It remains to be seen how he does in blocking, and that’s always one of the biggest deterrents to younger backs seeing the field early. But it’s clear that he’s an exceptional runner.

I'm more questioning what Kirby and his DL recruitment or management has to do with this recruiting class?

Better yet he is actually doing that drill on his knees instead of standing.

From BOL today:
quote:

-- Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (knee) was not wearing the familiar brace on his right knee. Instead, he only had a sleeve on his right leg and was once again not limited. Earlier in the day on the SEC teleconference, Nick Saban said he thinks Tagovailoa is over his earlier knee injury.

-- Quarterback Jalen Hurts (ankle) was trying to do more Wednesday. He asked quarterbacks coach Dan Enos to go through the final individual drill in the first of two viewing periods, and the junior threw the ball well once cameras were not allowed to film. He is still limited, though.

Since we are in a helping mode to non tech savy posters like myself , could you give me a quick summary of how to post a gif or pic ? TIA. Glad to hear about Tua. Wished someone would take it to Tiger Rant as they talk about it all the time and that is the “reason” LIA may flip. Parents unhappy with way injury handled etc.

Copy the link address of the pic or gif. Place the cursor where you want the pic or gif in the post text editing box. Then click the img button on the right and paste the pic or gif link address.

Alternative: Paste the pic or gif link in the post text editing box, then select it, and then click the img button. All of those buttons support either method.

If we are teaching the poor tech unwashed, how do you post a quote?

Yes, I know I'm pitiful but I'm ancient as well.

Same steps, except that you copy what you want to quote and then use the quote button. Or you can use the alternative method that I described above. When you're replying to a post and you want to quote all or part of that post, you can also click reply 1st, then scroll down and select the stuff you want to quote, and then click the quote button. The preview button lets you check your work before you click submit. If you screw up, you can edit your post by clicking the options button and then clicking edit.

ETA: When posting stuff from other sites, open a separate tab for that site and flip back and forth.
