Anybody else feel as though these Clay Webb articles are like beating a dead horse. I mean, he isn't saying anything new EVER. I know they are just writing these articles for clicks but jeez. I scroll right on past them now. His is the same story as a year ago.

How on earth do you gain a bunch of weight during the season? He must eat like a horse.

The info I saw posted about Ika gaining weight might not be legit. If it is, maybe he gained most of it in the summer.

Yep. Clay Webb is extremely tight lipped. Nakobe Dean is too. If a school has a significant lead for either of them, I doubt any recruiting reporters know about it. They're just speculating. Webb has been taking advantage of the recruiting process to attend a lot of good college football games. Dean hasn't really done that so far. I think Dean is already pretty sure which school he'll sign with. Webb has been saying he's undecided, but I think he might have a strong leader too.

Evan Neal has scheduled an OV to Oklahoma for their game against Oklahoma State next month.

He is taking an OV to Alabama for the Iron Bowl.

CBS Sport mock draft has Q. Williams, Thompson and Mack Wilson as first round picks. Some mock drafts even have R. Davis as a 1st rounder.

Bama needs to land an elite safety. two elite ILB, two elite DT and 2 elite DE in this class.

Couple more nuggets:

- Alabama would take Wandale Robinson's commitment even though they aren't pushing for him as hard as others like George Pickens, Evan Neal, Thibodeaux, etc.

- Pannunzio's visit to see Akeem Dent tonight is potentially an "evaluation" visit. Other DBs are probably still ahead of him.

- There are rumors going around the state of Mississippi that Alabama is going to drop Byron Young. It's not true. Hence the Golding and Kool visits tomorrow.

- Alabama will visit Ishmael Sopsher next Friday.

I don't provide much on here but I do live and work in Montgomery, and talk from some co-workers who know Mack Wilson and his family, say he is entering the draft. Take it for what's its worth.

I think it's totally reasonable to expect Quinnen, Mack, Raekwon, and Deionte to all enter the draft. On offense I think Jonah is a given.

The two guys I am keeping an eye on at this point are offensive guys - Irv and Jacobs. Never really expected either to have an opportunity but I now wouldn't be shocked by either.

Yep, been saying we need stud DL recruits for awhile now. Gonna be awfully thin. Have a good class coming in but I wouldn’t mind dropping some offensive guys for DL and LBs

I think all of the early entries, combined with a couple weak cycles/transfers at DL and LB, have left us in not a great position.

It's going to be a strange year next year on the defensive line. Ray is the only guy back with significant PT. Hopefully some of these commits are EEs and can start working in during the spring.

I'm going through Columbus on Saturday on my way to the in-laws in Eupora. The wife wants to stop and eat lunch while we are there.

Any new restaurants open up in the last couple months?

Having unexpected guys ball out on defense year after year. That’s what gives.
