Yeah. I don't think Cheney has been on campus all summer, and it's been mentioned by several that Cheney will likely go elsewhere.
I've never understood letting guys that are going elsewhere remain "committed."
The Georgia fans are saying they have up to four players that are going elsewhere to make room for better players.
No idea if that is accurate or not.

Cheney hasn't visited since spring and he's not hearing from the staff. Letting him appear to be committed until he finds a landing spot helps him get one and lets him save face.

I read the UGA board discussion about that and at this point it doesn't appear they're likely to land enough guys higher on their board to part ways with current commits. We'll see.

Well, I'd rather have Robinson, but he's a long shot in my opinion. Come on down Metchie

I want the ones who "seem" like they want to be here. That is why I want Metchie and Turnage to stay in the class. It is the reason I like Neal over Webb and Wright. I feel like a few of these guys are searching high and low for a reason not to come. I want the most talented guys but if you don't see the value of being at Bama I'm not going to waste any energy hoping you commit.

Getting those EE are also huge. The onboarding process and getting them game ready is much quicker than dealing with some one out of shape from not playing ball showing up in the fall.
We won it all because of that last year's. Saban playing 4d chess.

Robinson most DEFINITELY isn't a longshot. Two of the people I listen to differ radically on whether he's the top priority at WR or Pickens is. But there is no debate on him having a very high interest in Bama.

Yeah it's hard to see how any Alabama kid in this era of Crimson Tide football can turn down Coach Saban. Unless you have deep ties to another school you just should not say 'no' to scholarship offer from us and I am being completely unbiased here.
Who wouldn't want to be part of this program during this era of unprecedented success?

I think some of you have to realize that to some of these kids its not about football all the time.

quote:
“I don’t see another school that’s a better fit for me as far as the environment I want to be in and the people I want to surround myself with... They say they like like that I’m an extremely versatile wide receiver and that I can do a lot from the wide receiver position..." For now, Metchie does not plan to enroll early, but that could change by December.
