That's almost word for word what an insider posted on BOL. 'May' seems like a key word; I think he was speculating somewhat. I might be dead wrong, but I'm skeptical about the notion that Bama won't take a commitment from Christian Harris fairly soon. I think Bama wants to take two more ILBs in addition to Shane Lee. Dean seems to clearly be the top ILB target. Maybe they feel good about landing someone else too that they like better than Harris, but I can't come up with anyone who appears to fit that, unless maybe they're considering Devonta Lee at LB. Or maybe they're pretty far along with someone else behind the scenes. That kind of sums up why I didn't bother to post anything about what the BOL insider said.

That’s actually the 1st I heard about it as well. Was on BOL, so I checked with a couple of my guys and they simply told me that bama still likes Harris but he missed his opportunity and that bama will now start focusing on other targets.

I talk with 3 different people who all have connections with Alabama. They all said the same thing regarding Harris. . I’m unsure if they’d take his commitment right now, they like his as a prospect but they’re are other reasons why they’ve kinda backed off. It’s not character issues either.
I would like to add that in 100% confident that this is true.

I wonder if Bama is recruiting Henry To'oto'o behind the scenes. He visited the Vols on Friday. An off-field staffer at UT was a former LB at his HS (LaSalle) and UT, giving them a connection. Maybe he visited Bama the day before.

His name has never been brought up really when talking about ILBs. I’ll check that out.

I've been in your neck of the woods all day today. We went to Huck's tonight for supper.

We decided to spend the night over here at the base. We got a 3 bedroom hotel room with a kitchen, den and dining room for $63.

Temporary Lodging Facility baby.

Every Air Force Base has one.

They are usually all booked up, but it's not PCS season and we got lucky.

How many summer trips does your wife have planned? Your pretty dang close to the beach, Atlanta and maybe 6 hours from Gatlinburg.

We just decided to come see her dad for Father's Day yesterday. We stayed at his place last night and were going to drive home today, but we decided to hang around to eat supper. I didn't want to leave the dogs in the truck so I called the base hotel and got their only open room.

My wife's family was in the Navy and when they come down for reunions we will rent a couple of cabins through the Corp of engineers. They are all lakefront with a dock, 3 bedroom, 2 bath houses with living rooms, kitchen, laundry, the works, and it costs under $500 for the week for both of them. The deals you can get like that are ridiculous sometimes.

I freaking KNEW that I needed to join the military when I graduated. I'm an only child though, so I didn't want to die and leave my mom screwed.

I couldn't tell you when Father's Day was either if my wife hadn't reminded me.

My mom always encouraged me to join the military. Makes me think twice about her motives (especially considering that Gerber Life Insurance policy).

I wanted to join. I really wanted to join again after 9/11, but I felt bad. I had scored really high on my "asvab" or whatever test that is. I was promised all kinds of things by military recruiters

I'm glad I joined.

I could be making a lot more money on the outside with my degrees and certifications, but I prefer the 10% discount at Applebees.

I honestly wish I would have joined the Air Force. Being an only child and the deal with my dad really put a lot on me though. I just couldn't risk it or have to move a long distance away for a long time. After 9/11, I was so pissed, that I almost went and joined the marines. I again, was guilted out of it.

knew tham as TLQs back in the day, and they were never, never nice. When my dad got stationed at Maxwell in 92 i remember those were crawling with roaches when we had to live in them waiting for our house to close.
