Man there’s no way Tuitele is a five star, and Siaka Ika is not . He needs a big body transfermation. And he was going against small guys when he beat them in video Tidesaint posted. And struggled against bigger guys . Idk not impressed for him to be rated that high. I’ll and Sosher look more ready . Maybe it’s just me!!! But if anyone would get him in shape would be Cochran

If we get two out of Ika, Tuitele and Sopher---that'll be huge. All 3 would be like hitting the lottery. I'm high on Ika as well.

We just need to add two elite guys a year after that and we'd stay flushed with DL talent

Pretty good source says Bama is a done deal for Reichard.........

We're a done deal for Tuitele as well, unless something drastic changes.

Eh. Seems like we hear this a lot with players that never end up committing to us. I'll believe it when he actually commits. I'm sure silent commitments happen, I just don't think they're worth much, which is probably why they're kept "silent".

Did the good kicker from Ft Payne I think last year sign with Miss State?

There's not really a second place for Tuitele right now. Maybe Ohio State is the backup, but he's all Bama right now.

Washington might be #2 instead of Ohio State.
New Tuitele CBs: Steve Wiltfong flipped from USC to Foggy; OSU Insider picked UA.

That's great. I guess my question is; why not go ahead an commit and help recruit your future teammates like Quick is currently doing? If it's because he wants to take free visits, committed players still take visits all the time.

Every kid isn't the same. It's not their job to help our class recruit.
This is a one in a lifetime experience for them.

Those seem like valid questions for Taulia too. He knew he was going to UA long before he announced. But I've read that Lia just isn't as outgoing or apt to actively recruit as Pierce and Tyson are doing. Mwikuta is a kid who's very outgoing and he likes to recruit. Tuitele may be somewhat reserved like Lia. He's done very few recruiting interviews.
Tuitele might feel it's wrong to take expensive OVs from Hawaii if he's already decided. And he's already visited all his top schools. So, once he's sure where he wants to go, he may announce it. That might be soon.
Face-to-face recruiting is limited from Hawaii. But after announcing, Tuitele could help recruit via social media, at camps, events, AA game, etc.

Some Florida State mod, that appears to have only had CB capability for a little over a week, CB'd Nakobe Dean to FSU.

One of Alabama's incoming freshmen may have to wait a little longer before being able to join the Crimson Tide.
Four-star defensive back Josh Jobe, a Florida native who finished his high school career at Cheshire Academy in Connecticut, is still in the process of trying to qualify academically in time to be able to enroll in May.
Cheshire's graduation is this weekend, so Alabama should have a good feel regarding Jobe's status in the coming days.
"It's all coming down to the wire," Cheshire coach David Dykeman said. "He's done a great job here this year. I think he's really grown academically and had some success. It's going to be close. But I'm confident he'll make it."
It will depend on a couple of Jobe's final grades, Dykeman said.
Those grades will determine whether Jobe has to do some work this summer such as taking a summer class before being able to enroll at Alabama.

"But the hope is that he won't have to," Dykeman said.

Not being able to enroll until later in the summer would be less than ideal for both Jobe and Alabama, especially since he appears to have a decent shot of being a part of the Tide's defensive back two-deep this season.
It could be worse, though.
Even if Jobe isn't able to enroll in May, the expectation for Dykeman is that he'll still be able to join the Tide at some point this summer.
"I think worst case is that he may have to do a little summer work to get there," Dykeman said. "But again, I'm pretty confident that he's going to be OK (to enroll in May)."
