You probably have torn extracapsular ligament(s). They won’t heal correctly on their own and can cause the exact symptons you mentioned.
Go see an orthopedic Dr. and you’ll feel 80% better than now within a month of your surgery.

Now the shaft and socket are titanium, ball is high-tech ceramic and socket lining is vitamin-E impregnated polyethylene. Ball and liner should last 25 years minimum. And designed for easy replacement of just those two components, if they do go bad. It's not that invasive to replace them. My doctor has done several thousand hip surgeries. His rate of complications is less than 2% and the majority of those fairly minor.

Ok, what's wrong with my shoulder and do those dang braces help?
Have you recently done something to aggravate it? I know you said you hurt it when you were a kid, but anything recent to aggravate it?
You most likely have ligament damage to your AC joint that's causing some mild dislocation. A brace would give you support, but won't fix the problem. Best thing to do is see an orthopedist and let them examine you and get an X-ray. Hard to examine someone over the internet
I had an AC joint separation myself in high school and they hurt like a mother fricker

You might get you some cadaver ligaments!
I’m interested to know if it makes you have any new cravings.

Buddy of mine got a cadaver ACL. I refuse to hang out with him during full moons.

Neck, shoulder, and back pain never goes away. Anything that can hurt just breathing sucks. Shattered my clavicle at 21.... softball hero, and it's only fitting with the holiday,
but they put me in a truck to take to hospital. I made them take me to my mama.
Where's the weed?

LINK ]Alabama coaches’ relationships with top DB target could pay off big time

Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Roll Tide-ings, a rundown of everything happening in Alabama Crimson Tide recruiting with Chris Kirschner. In this edition, we talk the latest with one of Alabama’s top defensive back targets.
Marcus Banks committing this summer
Mother’s Day is extra special this year for Marcus Banks, one of Alabama’s top cornerback targets in the 2019 class. Banks’ father, Bobby Meeks — an FSU offensive lineman from 2000-2004 — died unexpectedly from complications during a surgery in March. He would have been 37 on April 8.
It’s now just Banks and his mother, Leah, at home. That has made Banks’ relationship with his mother even stronger than what it was before the tragedy.
“We have had bad days where we just talk and cry,” Banks said. “I still feel my dad around me, even to this day. My dad may not be here physically, but I still feel him spiritually. He’s still in my presence. I just feel him giving me signs throughout my recruitment. But now it’s just me and my mom at home, so we have gotten so much closer.

“In the simplest form, this is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. I have a great support system with my mom and my coaches. They have helped me get through it. But you always have to move forward, even though it’s hard. That has motivated me. Everything I do now, I do it 50 times harder now that I don’t have my dad. I just want to make him proud.”
His mother is an important part of his recruitment. Banks said every coach recruiting him knows that not only do they have to develop a relationship with him but also his mother. The pair have constant conversations about the schools he likes and she always accompanies him on his recruiting trips.
One of the schools that is doing a good job of recruiting him and his mother is Alabama. Defensive backs coach Karl Scott has recently been in daily communication with Banks’ mother.
“I have a really good relationship with Coach Scott,” Banks said. “I have mentioned to all of the coaches everywhere that I want to have a relationship with them. I don’t want to go somewhere where I feel like I can’t talk to the coaches about anything other than football.”
When the 3-star prospect from Dekaney High School (Houston) does make his commitment, which will happen somewhere between June 30 and July 3 at Nike’s The Opening Finals, his decision is mainly going to be based on relationships with the coaching staff of his choosing.

Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Texas and Texas A&M are the main schools in the mix for Banks. He has already taken an official visit to Texas A&M. He will visit LSU on June 8 and likely Alabama the following weekend. He is also trying to officially visit Georgia and Texas.
The 6-foot, 170-pound prospect visited Tuscaloosa earlier this year for a junior day. He has been high on the Crimson Tide since.
“I’m feeling Alabama a lot right now,” Banks said. “They are high on my radar. Me taking that official visit, I’ll be able to see more things I didn’t get a chance to see on my junior day visit. I want to see the dorms, just small stuff like that. I want to get around to see more of the campus, too. I also just want to get more in-depth about the school when I’m there.”
One of the biggest reasons why Alabama is high on his list is because of special teams coordinator Jeff Banks. Banks was recruiting the cornerback when he was an assistant at Texas A&M, so there’s a longstanding relationship there.
“He’s been one of my favorite coaches throughout my recruitment,” Marcus Banks said of the Alabama assistant. “I was really close with him at A&M and once he switched to Alabama, it made it better for me because I was already interested in them. He started recruiting me right away and trying to get me to go there.

“He just brings a lot of energy with the recruits. I feel like a lot of us kids can relate to him really well. He jokes around with us and you can just relate to him. He’s a funny guy, but at the same time, he’s also going to keep it straightforward with you. Every time I ask Coach Banks anything, he’s on it. He never hesitates with his answers.”
The straightforwardness is something he has picked up on in conversations with Nick Saban, too. Marcus Banks had a long conversation with Saban just last week where it was stressed to him that he is one of the team’s top cornerback options this year.
“Coach Saban is one of the realest coaches,” Banks said. “He doesn’t put on a front. He’s going to be straight up with you about everything. I like Coach Saban a lot. I can see why they win so many championships. Everything he was telling me about how he runs his program is so organized. Everything is done in a fine line. I can see why he’s a winner.”
Another thing that appeals to Banks about Alabama is how the Crimson Tide are always in the race to win a national championship. He also thinks Alabama, out of the schools he’s considering, is the one program that just speaks for itself. You say Alabama anywhere in the country and everyone is just in awe of the team, he thinks.
He also would like to play against the best players in practice, which is something he noted that Alabama offers. Banks is ranked as the nation’s No. 36 cornerback in the 2019 class in the 247Sports composite, but he feels like he should be No. 1. He’ll have an opportunity to prove himself next month at Nike’s The Opening Finals, where the majority of the top cornerbacks will be in attendance.

“I’m going to keep it honest — and I’m being so honest with you — I believe that I am the best cornerback in the 2019 class,” Banks said. “If we had a camp with all of the other cornerbacks ranked higher than me, I would be the best one. That’s me saying that in the humblest way and with respect to the other 2019 cornerbacks, but I believe I’m the best 2019 cornerback in the country.
“The stars go away when you get to college, so at the end of the day, the rankings really don’t matter. We’ll see when we go up against each other and then we will be able to figure out who’s actually the best. I am going to prove that I am the best cornerback in the country, nothing more and nothing less.”
Once the self-proclaimed best cornerback in the 2019 class commits at The Opening Finals, do not expect his decision to change. That is unless, of course, there’s a major coaching change. But he isn’t planning on taking any additional visits this fall after his commitment. That’s why he’s trying to use his official visits before the end of summer.
“Once I commit, that will be it. There will be no de-committing,” Banks said. “I have a pretty good feel of all the schools I’m considering. When I commit, that will solidify my decision. My mom told me that once I commit, that’s it. She thinks de-committing for no reason is a character flaw. Loyalty is everything. It’s not in my character to commit to a school and then tell them I’m de-committing. I can’t see it happening. I gave you my word and I’m keeping to it.”

Lakia Henry names a leader
Lakia Henry, the nation’s No. 1 junior college linebacker from Dodge City Community College, named Tennessee his leader after an unofficial visit to Knoxville this weekend, according to Rivals’ Jesse Simonton.
This was Henry’s first recruiting visit, so the excitement shouldn’t be a surprise. And it shouldn’t be a surprise that he actually named Tennessee his leader because of that.
Henry told SEC Country that he is working on setting up a visit to Alabama this summer. I know some of you have asked me where Henry stands on the board after the commitment of inside linebacker Shane Lee, but Henry is still a priority target for the Tide, and he can commit whenever he wants. Henry, Nakobe Dean and Christian Harris are the priority uncommitted inside linebacker targets in the 2019 class.

So I was listening to one of my weekly podcast today, and Rodney Orr was a guest. He said something that has me slightly concerned.
I'm paraphrasing a bit, but for the most part he said the following almost word for word:
"I've heard The first three months after the surgery are really important regarding Tuas recovery, and it is being monitored closely."
Now he didn't say anything that would make anyone think that hes not recovering perfectly but... something about the way he said it makes me think the second injury Tua sustained this spring could be cause for concern.
The first injury Tua was right back out there taking reps - after this injury they're saying three months till they'll know how his recovery has progressed ?
If anyone has heard anything about his progress from any of the other sites sure would like to hear it.
TIA

That's not really what Orr or "they" said. This is what you quoted Orr as saying:
quote:
"I've heard the first three months after the surgery are really important regarding Tuas recovery, and it is being monitored closely."
To me, that means Tua's healing, recovery, rehab, etc. are being managed carefully and checked continually and thoroughly during the first three months following surgery -- I assume by qualified UA staff and very good doctors. It means they'll know along the way how he's progressing; they won't be wondering about it for three months.
I think it's also consistent with what Saban has said -- that they're not going to take any chances this time -- i.e., putting him in any situations too soon where he might be overusing it or risk hitting again. In other words, they're just being much more cautious this time around.
quote:
If anyone has heard anything about his progress from any of the other sites sure would like to hear it.
I haven't seen or heard anything else other than what Saban said after he reinjured it. Did Orr bother to say who he heard that from? Heck, it seems like nothing much more than what Saban said. Every time something gets passed along it's stated a little differently -- like you did with your interpretation of what Orr said.
ETA: "I was told 2 days ago by an EXTREMELY reliable source that he was healing well and on-track to start throwing in Summer program next month." -- BOL poster
