My thoughts exactly!! If he is all Bama jump on board and help recruit. My guess is he is still up in the air. Our insiders proved last year they know about as much as us on recruiting. We are dealing with 17 year olds, No one can predict them.
Saying that I hope he joins us.. and soon. RTR

Alabama picks up in-state commitment from 2020 WR Dazalin Worsham (SEC Country)

quote:>>> Highlights - hudl
Alabama has been extremely hot on the recruiting trail recently. Going into Friday, the Crimson Tide had already landed three big-time prospects in April: defensive tackle Rashad Cheney, linebacker Shane Lee and quarterback Paul Tyson, all of whom are 4-star prospects according to 247Sports.
Well, it doesn’t look like they’re going to be slowing down anytime soon. Nick Saban and the rest of his coaching staff picked up another big commitment on Friday. Dazalin Worsham, a 4-star wide receiver from Hewitt-Trussville, took to Twitter to make it official.
Of course, Worsham is Tyson’s teammate, so the commitment isn’t a huge surprise. With that said, the impressive receiver is only going to be a junior next season. That means that he’ll actually be a part of Alabama’s class in 2020.
At 6-foot-1, 178 pounds, Worsham will bring similar size to Tuscaloosa that a lot of the other wide receivers Saban and Co. have recruited recently.
The Hewitt-Trussville product is Alabama’s third commitment of the 2020 class. All three are 4-star players, which puts the Tide’s class at No. 3 in the country — No. 1 in the SEC.

Breaking: Alabama lands Class of 2020 4-star WR Dazalin Worsham (BamaOnLine)

quote:>>> Highlights - hudl
Not to be outdone by the 2019 class, Alabama’s 2020 class is off to a hot start. The state’s top offensive player in the class, Dazalin Worsham, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Friday ahead of A-Day weekend. The Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.) standout chose UA over programs like Auburn, Clemson, and LSU, among others.
Even before Alabama offered, Worsham has been trending to the Tide for quite some time. Growing up a fan of the Tide, Worsham admitted that when Nick Saban and staff offered back in January, it was different than others. “I was excited,” Worsham told BamaOnLine of the offer at the time. “I’ve been waiting for it for a while now. Growing up, I was a Bama fan. It was was different. It was a special one to me. That was my dream growing up.”
Worsham joins teammates Pierce Quick and Paul Tyson as the third player from the powerhouse Huskies program to commit to the Tide. In fact, it’s Quick who’s played a big role in recruiting the Top100 receiver. “Pierce, he’s been wanting me to go to Bama. That’s all he talks about, for real," Worsham said earlier this spring.
Credit offensive line coach Brent Key with landing the elite playmaker. Worsham marks the third prospect Key has landed from his alma mater.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound in-state standout is rated the No. 14 wide receiver and the No. 83 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports’ rankings. At the time of his commitment, Worsham was trending to the Crimson Tide at 100 percent on the 247Sports Crystal Ball.
Worsham joins a 2020 Alabama class that ranks No. 3 in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings, joining four-star cornerback Javier Morton and four-star linebacker Jackson Bratton.
Like the 2019 class, the class of 2020 is strong yet again within the state of Alabama. Worsham may not be the last prospect from his high school to commit to the Tide. Four-star cornerback Malachi Moore is another name to watch who already holds offers from a number of the nation’s top programs.
Other in-state names to know include four-star defensive tackle Jayson Jones who says Georgia is his leader followed by Alabama and Mississippi State; four-star running back Roydell Williams who says the Tide is his leader after getting an offer at Junior Day; and four-star athlete and Tennessee commit Kristian Story, to name a few.

You're REALLY going to love Gattis when the #2 overall recruit in the country for the class of 2020, WR Julian Fleming from PA, signs with Bama because of him.

Looks like Parker McLeod is trying to get in on the action in the bottom right.

I really believe Gattis is going to be an exceptional head coach one day. His attention to detail and how genuine he is makes him an outstanding on the field coach and recruiter. Many of the recruits that we will have commit out of nowhere or that we didn't know we were really in on over the next couple of years will be because of him. I am a huge fan.

Gattis is always recruiting. Seems like he is tweeting stuff out all day. I knew he was good, but he's even better than I thought.

What Bama is getting in new 2020 WR commit Dazalin Worsham (BamaOnLine)

quote:>>> Highlights - hudl
Alabama landed its third commitment in the 2020 class on Friday evening from four-star receiver Dazalin Worsham. The Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.) product isn’t just the third commitment in the cycle for the Crimson Tide, he’s the third commitment from Hewitt-Trussville for Alabama, joining four-star quarterback Paul Tyson and five-star offensive tackle Pierce Quick.
“We’re obviously really fortunate to have some really good players right now and Dazalin is one of those guys,” Hewitt-Trussville head coach Josh Floyd said of his trio of UA pledges. “He’s a big-time receiver and a guy we’re excited to have for two more years. I’m excited for his future obviously, but we’re excited we get to coach him for two more years.”
Worsham caught 70 passes for 856 yards and nine touchdowns last season from his future quarterback. 247Sports rates him the No. 14 receiver and the No. 83 overall player in the country.
“I think the best thing is he’s a great route-runner, very explosive,” Floyd said. “He’s hard to cover in a one-on-one situation. Most of those battles he wins. Some of those things you can teach, but he does some things you just can’t teach. He’s very fast-twitched and explosive. And he’s a good-sized kid. He’s 6-1, he’s gained fifteen pounds at least since last year. He’ll easily be a 185-190 guy one day.”
Aside from football talent, Alabama is getting a driven player with the kind of work ethic needed to succeed at the next level.
“He’s a very hard worker,” Floyd said. “He does a lot on his own. He obviously works hard in practice, but he’s a guy that puts a lot of time in on his own. I think that tells you what kind of kid he is. Off the field, he’s a pretty mild-mannered guy. He does his job and does his thing. I think he’s got a big-time future ahead of him.”
The now Tide commit is expected back on campus this weekend for A-Day with his fellow 2020 pledges, four-star linebacker Jackson Bratton and four-star cornerback Javier Morton.

Yep. He's terrific. Another ace recruiter on our staff, and an outstanding position coach. Also, a good offensive mind. He'll be a head coach in ~ 3 years, no more than 5, IMO.
