Here's the Bleacher Report article:
If You Think Jalen Hurts Is Just Giving Up on 'Bama, You Clearly Don't Know Him
Imo, the BR article is worth reading, but the debating and speculating about Bama's QBs is silly. It's a no brainer. Tua should be the #1 QB this season. But I do think Jaylen could and should still play a lot too, especially closing out games. Imo, Jalen shouldn't transfer before this season. He's on track to graduate in December, providing the option to grad transfer without sitting out a year.
If Jaylen is dead set on wanting to be an NFL QB, the smart move for him is to stay and play the role of 2nd half closer this season. He'll benefit from Enos' coaching and get enough in game reps to improve in the areas he needs to. He could get about 1/3 of the snaps. Also, Tua may get injured. Transferring before the season and sitting out for a year wouldn't help him develop and might even be detrimental.
He'll graduate in December and can grad transfer somewhere that he can be the starter -- such as Arizona with Sumlin, TCU, Nebraska, etc. Sumlin has a close relationship with Jaylen and his dad. There's bound to be a good grad transfer landing spot somewhere after this season, and he'd go in January so he'd be there for spring practice.
If Jalen or his dad let their emotions lead them to him transfering before the 2018 season, they're being foolish.

Wished I was as confident about that as you. Tua needed to make a move this spring and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to do that .

Tua won us a Natty and the QB job in January.

Cmon man , you know he is not gonna win the job off of two quarters of play to a player who has lost 2 games in two years.

Imo, Tua should've taken over at halftime vs Miss State. We'd have beaten them by two TDs and would've beaten Auburn comfortably too. I love Jaylen for all his great traits, but Tua is great at all the extremely important stuff Jaylen struggles with. Again, it's a no brainer.

Totally agree. But Saban was afraid to pull the trigger

Yeah, but he saw the handwriting on the wall. He knew he might have to pull that trigger in the playoffs. So that's why Tua got enough playoff practice reps to be well prepared for it.

We got a CB for Darnell Wright

From an Ohio State guy. OSU appeared to be Wright's leader for a while.

Hurts got the lowest QB rating for a QB in the Saban era in the Barn game this past year.

I am a azzzhole I know but this Hurts as a QB in the NFL is a bit much. There is nothing wrong with just being a really good college football player. Coach Bryant had 100's of them that never played a down in the NFL. Jalen is a wildcat QB that has been starter for 2 years.

So assuming we land Pierce Quick, Amari Kight and Wright who is the best bet to kick inside?
Quick?

Think his recruitment has a long way to go honestly. Yesterday I think Wiltfong CB'd him to Tenn. There is some rumor that the WV guy OSU has committed (nester) is the reason why Wright is/isn't wanting to go to OSU (there are differing opinions on whether they like each other).
We were his leader going into the winter, but he never made it back to campus so far, and we got NPF who has starting tackle for 2-3 years written all over him

Quick?
Based on height, probably so -- starting OG and depth OT. Pierce could play OT in college, but more likely a starting OG / depth OT in the NFL. Jmo.

If we land Kight, Pierce, and Wright, is Kamaar Bell still a take especially given his academic situation?

It appears the staff likes him a lot. He'd have to get his grades in order though. He talks like playing for Bama is his ultimate dream, so he should be motivated enough to do it if he can. Heck, he might even be willing to greyshirt if needed.
The NCAA rules on non-qualifiers changed recently. If Bell signed an LOI and then didn't qualify, Bama wouldn't get that Initial Counter spot back. It would be totally wasted.
With the two OLs Bama took in 2018 (likely end up as inside OLs), taking four OLs appears adequate for 2019. How Bama fares recruiting other position groups will also affect how many OLs Bama takes.
Bama has also been recruiting Devontae Dobbs hard for a long time. He's visited a few times, including about a week ago. Dobbs is excellent, but like Pierce is a tad short for OT. He appears to be a Mich St lean, but if the scandal mess there puts Dantonio on shakier ground, Dobbs may shy away from MSU.

Could this be our best O'-line haul yet?

A class of Quick, Webb, Kight and Wright would set the bar pretty high for any other program in this 2019 recruiting cycle, and according to archived 247Sports Composite Recruiting Rankings would be the most touted OL class a Saban staff has signed during their time at Alabama.
