My example of Dareus and hopefully Q Williams is that we have precedent that playing DT at Alabama can earn you that big contract. Now whether Sospher can do that or has the drive who knows but we can show it can happen.

Dareus was not overpaid when he signed the contract. He just decided to coast after signing it. Quite a few do that in sports.

Saban and Golding saw 5-star RB Jerrion Ealy today and set up his OV to Bama for next week. “Clemson, Bama, Mississippi State, Ole Miss — they’re all making a push right now... I know Coach Huff very, very well, It helps (Alabama) tremendously... I know what type of guy I’ll be dealing with and everything.”

Also does this weekend appear to be plan A guys we want an answer from, and next weekends visitors are plan B guys if we don’t get an answer from guys like Toto and Sopsher? Just interesting how the two weeeknds are broken down.

Ealy is special athletically, if a guy like that suddenly is interested in you and you can snag a guy who could go to Clemson instead, you do it.
I doubt we are taking 3 backs or that Robinson wont be in this class, but you certainly bring Ealy in and see what happens.

I like him a lot , very elusive, strong arm , needs to work on throwing motion seems to wind up. But a lot like Lamar Jackson . He’s gonna be dangerous in the college game. If he has a good head on his shoulders. But like his film.

He is the kind of QB I want behind Tyson/Lia. He would have time to develop and he is a enough of a project that he probably wouldn't demand playing time early assuming the guy ahead of him is performing.

Are we in on Robby Ashford? Some people have said he may be a project, but he has a lot of raw talent and I've gotten the vibe that he'd commit if we offered and gave him the green light.

He is super raw. I watched a Hoover game this past season and all he seemed to do was throw up a prayer to George Pickens on every play and hope for the best.
