Not that I remember but I could be wrong. I could have overlooked it. Most Miami people don't believe he signed. Might be good for us.

Richt saw the writing on the wall. You win games in the trenches and he hasn't recruited well there; specifically thst offensive line.
That QB Rozier was a pain as well. Dide probably retired Richt.

We've speculated in here that Bogle might've secretly signed, but I haven't seen anything said about it anywhere else.

Rosier single handedly killed their season this year
I would be irate if that was the best option on my roster

N'Kosi Perry and Jeff Thomas probably helped him along as well. That were great on the field but they had thier issues off the field.

Beef O'Brady's, here in The Villages, was in mourning yesterday evening. Probably 80% of the residents are displaced Yankees, half of whom are snow birds.
We're about 70 miles from Gainsville, but the MI fans here outnumber the locals by about 10:1. ND going down decisively to a Southern team hurt even more. Ohio State and several pro teams also has a large following here.
Another BAMA - Clemson NC game is going to hurt Publix wings, party platter and champagne sales.

My optometrist was at Miami with Rich, and knows him personally. More after my next appointment in Feb., if he knows anything.

It makes sense. Michigan and Notre Dame are huge draws for New Englanders/Northeasterners for college and for sidewalk fandom.
My wife is from the Northeast and she has retired relatives all over. Mt. Dora, Vero, Tampa you name it.

Players who could earn a fifth star during Under Armour week (247Sports | segments)
quote:
Each recruiting cycle, 247Sports tabs 32 prospects as five-star recruits to mirror the number of picks in the first round of the NFL Draft. Heading into the Under Armour All-America game, 247Sports has been prudent with the fifth star as only 19 recruits have joined the exclusive group to date.
There are a handful of prospects that will compete in Orlando the next week during Under Armour All-America practices and game that have a shot to land that final star. Here are some names to watch.

Mansfield (Texas) legacy defensive back Jeffery Carter checks in at No. 29 by 247Sports and No. 91 in the 247Sports Composite. The Alabama signee is a gifted corner and one of the fastest players in the country. He clocked a 4.36-40 at one of the Opening Regional camps and also jumped over 40” in the vertical. At 6-0, 190 pounds, Carter has plenty of size and has the potential to develop in to an elite corner at the next level.

Seminary (Ms.) defensive lineman Nathan Pickering impressed during the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game practices and another strong week in Orlando could seal the deal for him. He’s rated the No. 27 prospect nationally by 247Sports and No. 65 in the 247Sports Composite. Pickering is a versatile lineman who can play inside or outside and moves very well for a big man. The Mississippi State commit didn’t sign in December and will take January visits to Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss in addition to the Bulldogs.

Forest Park (Ga.) defensive end Justin Eboigbe is an intriguing player who just oozes upside. The Alabama signee has drawn some comparisons to former Tide standout and Washington Redskins defensive end Jonathan Allen because of his frame, quickness and physicality. He’s rated the No. 53 prospect nationally by 247Sports, No. 75 in the 247Sports Composite, but if you’re looking for a player who could make a big jump with a big week of practice, Eboigbe could be the guy.

Major Applewhite, the orginial Saban OC
, was let go by Houston. They want Holgorsen but I don't know why he would go from the Big 12 to the AAC unless he really just wants to be back in Texas.

Maybe Jim Leavitt or Greg Schiano are Miami candidates.
