The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons four-star defensive end is No. 3 at his position in the country. Bogle is expected to announce his commitment Jan. 5 in San Antonio at the All-American Bowl. While Miami is the heavy favorite, Alabama could make a move for the 6-foot-4, 215-pounder after Kayvon Thibodeaux picked Oregon.

10. S JORDAN BATTLE: ALABAMA (SIGNED)
![]()
Four-star Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas safety Jordan Battle was one of the biggest stories of early Wednesday morning. Before many Alabama fans even arrived at work, the Crimson Tide flipped the No. 77 overall recruit from Ohio State. Battle officially visited Alabama last month, after which his father gave some interesting comments about where things stood.
“Right now, to me, it’s probably between Alabama and Ohio State,” Fred Battle told BamaOnLine. “To me, I think they both are close. The only thing that sets them apart is Alabama is probably the No. 1 team pretty much every year in the country, you know what you get.”

18. TE Keon Zipperer: Florida (Signed) — The highest-rated member of the Lakeland trio, Zipperer is the No. 4 tight end in the country. At No. 136 overall, he is Florida’s highest-rated commitment in the 2019 class so far.
25. RB Kenny McIntosh: Georgia (Signed) —The four-star tailback out of Fort Lauderdale signed with Kirby Smart this week. McIntosh ranks 10th nationally, and helps soften some of the blow of losing Trey Sanders to Alabama.

Bogle at this point is supposedly down to UM and Bama, the UF thing from what I've read is a product of losing summerall and zipperer to UF after going all in on them, just your classic post melt
Obviously time to change his mind, but I don't think he ends up at UF.

I just don’t see how any kid could go to Miami at this point. It’s such a disaster this season under Richt. The recruiting class is a train wreck ;seriously they have a one year gap in their recruiting now that they will have to scramble to fill. It’s a good school and it’s probably close to home for him but from a football perspective it’s about to crumble.

CHICAGO, Il. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Louisa County's Brandon Smith is one of five high school finalists for this year's Butkus Award, given to the best linebacker in the country.
Smith was named a finalist for the high school Butkus on Monday. The Penn State commit was the Jefferson District defensive player of the year this season, after finishing the regular season with 116 tackles, including four sacks, plus five forced fumbles.
Smith's high school career ended with last Friday's last-second loss to Eastern View in the VHSL region playoffs. Smith will enroll early at Penn State in January.
Smith is joined on that list of Butkus finalists by Nakobe Dean of Mississippi, Owen Pappoe of Georgia, and a pair of players from California (De'Gabriel Floyd and Henry To'oto'o). Dean, Smith and Pappoe are all rated as five-star players by 247Sports; To'oto'o and Floyd are both four-star recruits.
To'oto'o is committed to play at Alabama, while Dean, Pappoe and Floyd are not yet committed to college programs. All five Butkus finalists are high school seniors.
(Whatch u say Willis!!!) committed ? I’m sure it’s a misquote, but would be nice if he signed and is gonna announce at the all star game.

When was this posted? It says Pappoe and Dean are not committed. They are not just committed but have signed. To oTo o is not committed. Some sloppy reporting there.

I wish they provided more blocking film, but damn that is a very refined route running TE.
He isn't the fastest, but his runs very good routes and has a sense of his surroundings. Always high points the ball and uses his size well against opponents.
He's probably going to be a day one starter.... if his blocking film is as consistent and violent as the few players they showed.
Very well drilled in technique.

LINK ]Where the top 20 players in Georgia are headed (247Sports)
quote:
The Early Signing Period for class of 2019 college football recruits kicked off Wednesday with many of the most highly-touted players across the country making their final decisions.
Like every recruiting cycle, a large amount of those players hail from the state of Georgia, which is known for its large pool of high school football talent, especially the greater Atlanta area.
Of the top 20 players from the state of Georgia ranked in the 247Sports Composite, just one remains unsigned, five-star wideout Jadon Haselwood, who plans to announce in two weeks.
Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson, Auburn, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas and Florida have all signed at least one of the top 20 players in Georgia for 2019. But which team was able to reel in the most highly-ranked players from Georgia?
Here's a look at where the 247Sports Composite's best recruits in the state will begin their college football careers:

9. JUSTIN EBOIGBE - Alabama (signed)
![]()
Measurables: 6-4.5, 263
247Sports Composite: No. 75 overall; No. 5 SDE
Evaluation: Muscled-up build with big arms and lower body. Plays with outstanding first-step quickness and instincts, jumping the snap and shooting gaps to make plays in the backfield. Embraces contact and is physical in taking on blocks. Bowls over opposing offensive tackles and running backs who stay in to pass protect. Creates disruption in a variety of ways. Finishes plays with authority and violence. Has some of the more dominant senior film of defensive line prospects in the 2019 cycle. Has a swim move but will need to continue improving his hands at the next level as he can over rely on his bull rush and natural strength. Likely plays at a faster speed than he will test athletically. Could possibly grow into an interior defensive lineman. Projects as a multi-year starter at the Power 5 level with all-league potential later in his career. Projects as a day-two selection in the NFL draft.
NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round
Player comparison: Jonathan Allen, Alabama

12. KEVIN HARRIS - Alabama (signed)
![]()
Measurables: 6-4, 228
247Sports Composite: No. 113 overall; No. 5 WDE
Evaluation: Thin edge rusher with good length and a lean frame. Good speed with above average combine testing. Most comfortable as a stand-up edge defender. Good get-off and edge speed. Extremely active and quick with hand usage. Has shown the ability to convert speed to power but much more comfortable as a speed rusher. Linear athlete that plays hard. Can impact the game with flash plays. Not overly versatile yet. Still needs to add strength to become a more complete player. High level Power 5 player with early to mid round NFL Draft potential.
NFL Draft projection: 2-3 Round
Player comparison: Darrell Taylor, Tennessee Volunteers
