All of these Georgia "insiders" who have predicted they land Nakobe Dean and Trey Sanders were also adamant Justin Fields wasn't going anywhere.

Fields is gonna try and be eligible next year...I bet he is gonna try to pull a Shea Patterson and say Kirby lied to him to get immediate eligibility.

I wouldn't be surprised. Announcing it before the bowl game makes it seem like he's a bit disgruntled. Fields has a lot of talent, but nothing he did in games said "wow, this guy should be starting." Certainly not the way it was with Tua last year.
