247Sports scouting report: Has lean, athletic frame that will be able to pack on good weight at the next level. One of California’s top pass rushers since his sophomore season. Has advanced pass rush instincts and can beat linemen in a variety of ways. Edge speed is elite, but he does have a bulrush in his arsenal as well. Has good closing speed. Is better against the run when he is chasing from the backside. Needs to improve at the point of attack on runs at him. Must continue to get stronger and more physical. Can take over a game when motivated but he does have a tendency to coast at times. At his best, will be a dominant college football player and first-round NFL Draft pick.

One of the most college ready bodies at the running back position in the 2019 class. Able to deftly make defenders miss in the hole and turn short gains into big runs. Nimble feet, impressive jump cuts, and vision to go with the strength to break tackles and push the pile. Comfortable as a pass catcher, making him a well rounded weapon out of the backfield. Concerned he is already physically maxed out prospect with limited upside to what he is currently. An impact player at high-end Power 5 level and future NFL draft pick, with early round upside.

Among the most athletic linebackers in the nation with high-level short area quickness and burst. Pairs intelligence and instincts with athletic ability and toughness. Highly active at inside linebacker. Has very good recognition skills and triggers quickly. Easily runs sideline to sideline. Lacks some length in coverage with his smaller frame and can continue to improve his tackling form. Projects as a multi-year impact Power 5 starter and should be a very good special teams player early in his college career.
