-Still want to take 1 more DB and has a good chance to close strong at DB
-Sanders is a Bama/UGA battle
-Really likes Bama's chances with Evan Neal
-Bama is "in the race" for Dean - a lot of conflicting info and it's hard to know what to believe
-Thinks Pola-Gates is a take
-Projecting Thibs to Bama
-Bama hasn't really been recruiting Siaki Ika and he hasn't been a take for a long time
-Really good chance at landing To'oto'o
-Magic number is 29-30
-D.J. Williams is an option for Bama and UGA if they miss on Sanders
-Jeff Banks is visiting Zipperer today, but the package deal with his teammate takes Bama out
-Daxton Hill is good enough to start as a freshman

It's comical at this point. It's pretty clear KS is trying to send a message because while I understand overlap on top recruits, it's getting borderline stalkerish how they are trying to sweep out recruits we are in on.

DJ Williams tape looks great, but his size worries me. He may end up suprising everyone.

Understand we do not claim any inside scoops. We do not communicate with recruits. We do carefully follow what a dozen or so good sources believe is happening on any given day. None of those sources are soothsayers and none have a direct line to Nick Saban’s Big Board. So don’t wager any money on our predictions. There are a few very capable sources who make solid predictions season after season, but even they are not always correct.
Where the Crimson Tide 2019 recruiting class stands today with 24 verbal commits. The magic number for the 2019 class is 28. That is 25 new commits plus three slots carried over from last season. Does the Crimson Tide have only four open slots? We don’t think so.
We guess two (maybe as many as four) of the current 24 verbal commits will flip to other schools. So 22 verbal commits leaves room for six more players. Another guess is a couple of grayshirts will mean the working number is eight more players. Beginning today and continuing through Dec. 18, we will provide a list of ten players for those eight slots. We will add a second list of a few contingency players. Both lists and any needed adjustments in projected open slots will be will be updated daily.

5-Star, DE Kayvon Thibodeaux – announcement on Dec. 15. The Tide leads but Thib is hard to predict.
5-Star, ILB Nakobe Dean – announcement Dec. 19. Tide and LSU battle with Tide lead.
5-Star, RB Trey Sanders – announcement on Dec. 19. Tide leads but UGA pushing.
5-Star, OL Evan Neal – announcement on Dec. 19. The Tide leads with UGA pushing hard.
5-Star, DT Ishmael Sopsher – no decision until February. The Tide leads [but LSU will try to broker a package, making room for his brother.
4-Star, DB Jordan Battle – another flip, this time from Ohio State
4-Star, DB Nola Pola-Gates – announcement planned for January. The Tide leads but probably only room for either Battle or Pola-Gates.
5-Star, OL Darnell Wright – no decision until February. Tennessee probably leads.
4-Star, LB Henry To’oto’o – Even potentially pulling in Nakobe Dean, the Alabama football staff wants to add To’oto’o.
4-Star, DE Kris Bogle – announcement in January. Bogle would come close to making up for a miss on Thibodeaux.
If Sanders does not choose the Tide, 4-Star, RB Deondrick Glass is a good option. Glass will not commit elsewhere until Sanders makes a decision. if there is room, the Alabama football staff would like to add another tight end, 4-Star, Keon Zipperer.
If Battle and Pola-Gates fall through, 4-Star, CB Marcus Banks is a strong option.
There are other names that are a priority for the Alabama football staff.
They are also top players but the Crimson Tide only has so much room.

Looks like they haven't done the math, a lot of those insiders they are using to come to conclusions are saying minimum 29 at this point.

No program provides a pathway to the NFL as proficiently as Alabama football. Compare Tide 5-Star signees to every other program and the gap is staggering.
the Staggering Link
The recruits considering Alabama football and other schools should pay close attention to NFL Draft history. Being developed by Alabama football pays off for a wide range of players, not just the blue-chippers.
The history of NFL Draft success by Alabama football 5-Star signees is more than impressive. The Crimson Tide to NFL path designed and maintained by Nick Saban has produced such success, no other school comes close.
The odds for a FBS player getting drafted by the NFL are long shots. Even being an elite (5-Star) college prospect does not assure Draft success. Alabama football 5-Stars have more success than elite players from all other schools but they do not all get drafted. Tide 5-Stars who went undrafted recently are Tony Brown and Robert Foster. Going back further, Tyler Love, B.J. Scott, Phillip Sims, Trey DePriest and Eddie Williams are other examples, though only DePriest spent four seasons in Tuscaloosa.
Those long odds make it most important for an elite player to increase his chances in every way possible. Statistics show the best way of increasing chances is through Alabama football. Several months ago, Chris Hummer of 247 Sports compiled some illuminating stats. Many fans saw the main stat shown in the tweet below.
Beyond that stunning stat are other impressive numbers. Comparing Alabama football to the rest of college football is not the best measurement. Hummer also did a comparison of Crimson Tide 5-Stars against top teams with a comparable number of 5-Star signees. Take a look below.
5-Star Signees Drafted in NFL First Round
Alabama Crimson Tide – 48.3 percent
Florida Gators – 29.4 percent
LSU – 21.4 percent
Georgia Bulldogs – 18.8 percent
Florida State – 16.7 percent
Southern Cal – 15.8 percent
Ohio State – Zero percent
Make no mistake, there are many 3-Star and 4-Star players who become NFL first-rounders. Two Crimson Tide examples are Marcel Dareus and Mark Ingram. But looking at the 5-Star numbers above, it is difficult to understand why elite recruits choose any school other than the University of Alabama.
How do Nick Saban and the Alabama football staff achieve such dominating results? Phil Savage explains why such a gap exists.
It’s evaluation, then it’s development, and then they play schemes that are easily transferable for the NFL scouts to walk out of that building or off that practice field and see those players doing things that they will be required to do at the NFL level.
Savage’s explanation makes the Alabama football process sound simple. Even if it is not unique, it is clear Nick Saban and his staff are better at it than anyone else. Elite recruits should be paying close attention.
There are many reasons why players choose certain schools. Being lifetime fans, proximity to home and family and new bonds with college coaches are three. For elite recruits, paying attention to Crimson Tide Draft success should be number one.

It sounds like they don't have an accurate grasp of where Alabama stands with its available signing limit spots and initial counter spots. It's more complicated than they stated. Click on the "Note" link on the 3rd line of the 2nd post in this thread for a detailed explanation of how many we might be able to take.
