And will reluctantly end up at Auburn too. Never to be heard from again.

I am hearing we're about to go scorched earth off the field after either the NCG or possibly will wait until after NSD. No idea on the who's or what's, but I do know that all of the off-field stuff said and done by Kirby in relation to CNS has him EXTREMELY pissed off and motivated. I'm positive that that is the case.

I'm always cautious of posts that can be regarded as sour grapes, but I will just mention this. Ansley had bungled up the King Mwikuta recruitment so much that they had to take him off of it and put Tosh in there to close the deal. Despite being publicly mentioned as someone who won a lot of recruiting battles this year, he was considered a bit of a disappointment on the recruiting trail, overall. I don't think there's a whole lot of angst in him taking the CSU defensive coordinator position. It might lose us Quay Walker, but we'll be fine at ILB since we absolutely kill it recruiting at that position most years and killed it last year (Vandarius Cowan has been the most talked about freshman in bowl practices, and Benton is also thought to be ready for next year). We might keep Vernon Jackson anyway.

People don't need to forget what a pissed off Nick Saban can do.

Maybe we can bring in a former alum and get Sam Shade

I hate to be like this but I'm totally fine with recruiting taking a backseat when Bama looked as good as they looked on defense against Clemson and hopefully will against Gawja. Go win another National Championship, then hit the ground running after that. JMHO

Is he coaching?

Where?

If looking at alums, Deshea Townsend would be a homerun.

Latest: After seeing Ms. Roland's case in the news this morning, a passerby called us about 8:15am, stating Ms. Roland was under an overpass at the 610 West Loop at Richmond. Our officers arrived, confirmed it was her and arranged she be checked at an area hospital. #HouNews LINK

In what world would he be a HR? Corey Raymond would be a HR b/c it hurts a division opponent, strengthens our staff, and he'd kill it in recruiting. Deshea is a good coach, but I'd hardly consider him coming home a HR hire.

Currently the Titans DB coach. He has never coached for Indianapolis. Though he did play there.

Arizona Cardinals - Assistant DB coach (2011-12)
Mississippi State - DBs coach (2013-15)
Tennessee Titans - Secondary coach (2016-present)

Deshea Townsend

I seriously doubt he'd take a step down from the NFL to the same job at Bama (unless asked to leave or fired etc) and he'd cost a pretty penny I'm also assuming.

He was pretty good as an on-field coach at Miss State

That's very interesting. Is there anymore you can say or is that about it?

You are likely correct, I was thinking he was with the Colts staff that just got fired.
