The one positive of an early signing period is that we have 6 weeks to fill the class. At least this did not happen in February.

It sounds like we wouldn't let him sign due to a transcript issue. Perhaps he got pissed and decided to stab us in the back.

Sky isn’t falling completely down here. We should have about 8 spots left after Walker and Jackson ultimately flip. This staff will be balls to the walls on a smaller group of players from 1/8 on through Feb NSD.

If it really is a transcript issue, I am glad that we didn't let him sign. We don't need to make him the third kid we've had make it on campus only to not qualify.

Maybe us signing 3 other 4-star CBs, with the late addition of Jobe, raised concerns about competition for PT. Maybe qualifying concerns actually did factor into how it played out. Regardless, it's over now. Gotta move on.

I think it might be. Someone like Barmore may have some work to do in the classroom, but our options at DLine are very limited whereas we are still in good shape with some other DBs.

Let me also mention that the >100% commitment strikes again. Nadab Joseph was 1000% committed 2 weeks ago. We should have saw this coming. He was five times as likely to decommit as Pineiro.
