An important, non-recruiting related thing being reported on the web today is that Deionte Thompson is going to be fine and may not even miss a practice.

No idea where he ends up (could be Alabama) but Dominick Wood Anderson seems to be a bit of a diva.

You know it's bad if Cecil says something like this

According to the Georgia board they are trying to get Quay Walker cleared academically so he can sign with them today.

They also are supposedly the reason Nadab Joseph elected not to sign despite what his guardian is saying.

TIFWIW.

In a world of trolls, not the most well thought out tweet.

Jordan Davis committed to Alabama last December. Davis is the Crimson Tide’s longest-tenured commitment. He didn’t take an official visit to any other program and never wavered on his commitment.

Here’s all you need to know about Davis:

247Sports composite ranking: No. 5 defensive end (projects as a Jack linebacker, though), No. 2 prospect in Tennessee and No. 89 overall

Hometown: Memphis, Tenn.

School: Southwind

Height: 6-foot-5

Weight: 238 pounds

Offers: 16, including Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Ohio State, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M

Commitment: Dec. 10, 2016

Early enrollee: Yes

Where he fits at Alabama: Jordan Davis wasn’t a well-known prospect when he committed to Alabama last year. He was a 3-star recruit with a few Power 5 offers. Since committing to the Tide, Davis has blossomed into a defensive force on the field. He was named an Under Armour All-American and made more than 20 sacks in his senior season. Davis is being recruited as a Jack linebacker, which is a hybrid of weakside defensive end and outside linebacker; however, it’s very possible Davis puts on more weight and becomes a traditional defensive end.

Put his arse in the slot or at RB on 3rd and 5 and watch him kill defenders.

Stephon Wynn Jr. committed to Alabama over Georgia in the summer. Wynn never looked back on his decision to choose the Crimson Tide. He didn’t visit any other program after committing to Alabama. On Wednesday, he signed with Alabama on the first day of the early signing period.

Here’s all you need to know about Wynn:

247Sports composite ranking: No. 3 defensive end (projects as a defensive tackle, though), No. 15 prospect in Florida and No. 70 overall

Hometown: Anderson, S.C.

School: IMG Academy

Height: 6-foot-4

Weight: 285 pounds

Offers: 27, including Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Clemson, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State

Commitment: July 1, 2017

Early enrollee: Yes

Where he fits at Alabama: Wynn is listed as a defensive end, but he will likely play defensive tackle when he arrives in Tuscaloosa in January after playing in the Under Armour All-America Game. With depth at defensive tackle being a concern for the Tide moving forward, Wynn is someone who could see playing time early next season.

Best I could get. Local news blocked everyone when he actually signed.

Emil Ekiyor flipped his commitment from Michigan to Alabama back in October.

“It just came down to my connection with the coaching staff at Alabama,” Ekiyor told SEC Country at the time. “On my last couple of visits there, I just got really comfortable with them. Also, the reputation of greatness that they have and playing for arguably one of the greatest coaches of all time.”

He took an official visit to Alabama for the Sept. 30 Ole Miss game, where things started to look very serious in terms of a flip. SEC Country was alerted at the time by sources close to the program that flipping Ekiyor was more likely than not going to happen. On Wednesday, he signed with the Crimson Tide on the first day of the early signing period.

Here’s all you need to know about Ekiyor:

247Sports composite ranking: No. 2 center, No. 1 prospect in Indiana and No. 100 overall

Hometown: Indianapolis

School: Cathedral

Height: 6-foot-2

Weight: 322 pounds

Offers: 34, including Michigan, Florida, Auburn, Florida State, LSU and Oklahoma

Commitment: Oct. 29, 2017

Early enrollee: No

Where he fits at Alabama: With Bradley Bozeman, Alabama’s starting center, leaving after this season, there will be a chance for Ekiyor to make an immediate impact on the offensive line as a freshman. The Tide signed Hunter Brannon in the 2017 class as a center. The team could also decide to reshuffle the current offensive line. I know there was some talk to make Jonah Williams a center before Brian Daboll became the offensive coordinator, so maybe the team decides to do that. But when Ekiyor enrolls this summer, I expect he’ll be in the mix to be Bozeman’s replacement.
