Christian Barmore is heavily considering signing Wednesday, according to a pair of coaches at the school. He was going to wait until February to sign, but now the word from his school is he will make his announcement Wednesday.

So would everyone be happy with Barmore, Friday, and Wynn as our DT/NT commits? Since Cooper Miller and Brown don’t look likely.

Would be really good haul, imo. It looks like Wynn may be a flexible DE/DT type. Plus, Davis could "grow" into a DE.

Jarrez Parks just did it with us.He could have gone anywhere as a Top100 player. There are always exceptions.

Reportedly, he can if he does the needed work.

FWIW an "insider" on BOL says Bobby Brown is still in play.

Without asking him I think they are referring to Micah Parsons.

I'd guess yes. Most of the comments I'd seen were that he liked Alabama and Georgia a lot (though it's been very quiet in general), but his OV to us was not scheduled until January. I really really like his film, and feel like we could use one more DT in this class. He's a bit of a project/work in progress, but super athletic. If he does commit to the Tide, good pull.

Let's just hope he doesn't break his foot as soon as he starts practice.

I might be out of the loop on Bama football on that one. Who is this about?

ETA: just looked down on your board... sorry man :/ we need a :homies: emoticon where smiley pours out a little beer. Either way... UGA fans know dem feels regarding injuries. This year... nope... not gonna say it... but yeah... some seasons are worse than others on that front.

From this SEC Country article two weeks ago, after Walker's unofficial visit to UGA and just after Pruitt got the UT job:
quote:

As far as Walker’s commitment to Alabama is concerned, he’s one of two pledges (linebacker commit Vernon Jackson being the other) to the Tide who I could see flipping to another school. When it was reported that Pruitt was a leading candidate for the Mississippi State job, Walker told me that he was going to de-commit from Alabama if the coach left Tuscaloosa.

Defensive backs coach Derrick Ansley visited Walker on Wednesday, and the 4-star prospect told SEC Country on Thursday after Pruitt left that he’s sticking with the Tide.

“After DA visited me on Wednesday, I’m staying committed,” Walker said.
