I've never played on lichess, but have heard it's a fast interface. I was able to get a free lifetime diamond membership on chess.com for beating Rensch in a game. But I get so much lag on that site that it drives me crazy when trying to play fast blitz and bullet.

Thats cool. I know Rensch from all the videos he has had playing John Bartholomew. Ive also watch Naka kill Eric Hansen about a million times on his chessbrah account in bullet. Im a decent player but far from spectacular. I enjoy watching a lot of youtube players as well.

No. I haven't played over the board in over 4 years. My job at the time had gotten too stressful and I'd lost over 100 points in a few months. I'm sitting at like 2075 right now. I was at 2179 at my peak. Right around the time I hit that rating, I got promoted to a higher managerial position at my last office job. The path to the Master rating took a big hit when that happened. I also became an extreme time pressure addict... to the point where I often played with 1 second on my clock while playing with the 5 second time delay (which is complete insanity... not recommended... haha). So I needed to take time away. Everybody has an excuse, though. 
I'll probably come back and shoot for 2200 again at some point.

What is the early signing period?
The NCAA implemented the early signing period back in May. It is a 72-hour window in which recruits have an opportunity to sign their letters of intent two months earlier than the usual event on the first Wednesday in February.
Other sports such as basketball have multiple signing periods, but this is the first time for football. Early enrollees have been able to sign their letters of intent and financial aid paperwork in December for years.
When is the early signing period?
The early signing period begins on Wednesday, Dec. 20 and runs through Friday, Dec. 22. Expect the majority of Alabama’s 2018 commitments to sign their letters of intent on that first day of the signing period. Only a handful will wait it out on Dec. 22.
