Any chance Ruggs can play safety?

I view him more as developing into perhaps a slightly more athletic Jamey Mosley. I would like to have him on the team but not sure where he would fit in a class that’s pretty heavy at his projected position.

The problem with that pic is that Kirby can show him the exact same ring.

Yep. An Alabama NC ring.

Tells you all you need to know about recruiting. When some of you go to blaming the staff you have to remember they are kids and may not care about things like winning or playing for a championship lol.

Mullen gave him the cold shoulder from the get go. He doesn't fit the mold of what he likes which are 6'3"+ 215+ lb dual threat QBs. Not surprised he flipped

A bit surprised he decided to flip to Ole Miss

2019 4-star LB King Mwikuta is expected to announce a decision at around 9-9:30 a.m. CT on Friday morning.

Tim Watts predicted he will pick Alabama last night.

We might be getting a commit today.

Update on all of those Miami coaches visiting Josh Jobe yesterday:

quote:

Based upon everything that InsideTheU has heard over the past 24 hours we're told that the trip went well. Diaz, Banda and Rumph had the chance to spend a few hours talking one-on-one with the Top100 safety. While the three assistant coaches weren't able to convince the Jobe to cancel his planned official visit to Alabama this upcoming weekend, some connected to the recruitment believe that the Hurricanes have the U.S. Army All-American legitimately questioning if he wants to sign with the Crimson Tide next week.

Four-star tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson of Arizona Western College in Yuma, Ariz., the No. 1 junior-college tight end in the 2018 class, posted Thursday night on his Twitter account that he's planning to take an official visit to Tennessee.

"Tennessee Official Visit This Weekend #VolNation #GBO," he tweeted.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Wood-Anderson, a former Texas commitment, made the announcement just a few hours after he tweeted a picture of himself posing Thursday during a visit from Tennessee's Brian Niedermeyer, a member of new Vols coach Jeremy Pruitt's staff.

At least a couple of Wood-Anderson's Arizona Western teammates — three-star offensive tackle Jahmir Johnson and three-star wide receiver Jaron Woodyard, a Nebraska commitment — also are scheduled to take official visits to Tennessee this weekend.

Wood-Anderson has been on official visits to Texas, Alabama, Louisville and Texas A&M. He's planning to announce his college decision time to sign during next week's early signing period and enroll at the school of his choice in January.

He's ranked the No. 10 overall junior-college prospect and the No. 1 juco tight end in the 247Sports Composite for the 2018 class.

Couple blurbs from Steve Wiltfong:

quote:

It would be surprising if No. 7 in outside linebacker Eyabi Anoma went anywhere other than Alabama. He is announcing on Dec. 22. No program has recruiting the Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances product harder than the Crimson Tide. Michigan and Maryland are among the other contenders. I forecasted Alabama on the 247Sports Crystal Ball back in February.

quote:

Sitting at No. 17 is Tampa (Fla.) Berkeley Prep five-star Nicholas Petit-Frere. My 247Sports Crystal Ball was originally on Florida but is now on Notre Dame. The Irish and Michigan have already gotten him to campus for officials and are major players moving forward but Petit-Frere is expected to take three officials in January before deciding. Alabama and Ohio State look to be good for two of those. Perhaps Florida will snag the other. This recruitment is one of the more wide open ones late in the process.

Looks like Pruitt is off to a good start. This is in regards to Cade Mays:

Things tell me that DWA is a damn prima donna!! I can see him taking this trip just to be with his buddies and I see this as publicity to keep certain staffs on pins and needles. He has already jerked CNS' chain once. I say let him go elsewhere and let CNS bring in a stud that WANTS to be here with that spot!!

I hope we can close strong with Jobe. I feel like our staff views him as a so-called 5 star. As far as them saying he could be thinking twice, thats all speculation. Im completely confused on DWA, at this point who cares. He likes Tennessee now because of Pruitt? Whatever, you will lose every year
