You always have this quick pessimistic outlook and always apologize when you get proven wrong.

Why not avoid the cycle and try a new approach?

Optimism.

Also it is untrue we don't lead for a five star. We lead for Eyabi Anoma. We also are in the race for some highly rated DBs.

Bye week blues. I would say some on here need to back off the ledge but maybe some of you should just go ahead and take that step.

Well... we don't have a 40-point blowout to crap on then negatively overanalyze, so what are they suppose to do?

Maybe with Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Auburn and Miss St about to hire new coaches, it will help Bama get some commitments.

Martin and Miller from the Barn

Brown from A&M

If Miller isn't hard working we shouldn't want him.

Get me Barmore, the JUCO hyped kid and flip Bobby Brown and I'm ecstatic.

We should have a heck of a DE haul as well.

Alabama put an offer on the table for the nation's No. 1 cornerback in the 2019 class, Akeem Dent, the West Palm Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Central product announced on Twitter Saturday.

Dent is committed to Florida State, a pledge he made back in July. He's also been committed the Miami in the past.

The Crimson Tide had a pair of coaches in defensive backs coach Derrick Ansleyand special teams and tight ends coach Joe Pannunzio in South Florida on Friday.

At 6-feet, 170 pounds, Dent is rated the No. 1 cornerback and the No. 14 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

Staff is supposedly REALLY high on Jacob Copeland. Always have been to an extent, but supposedly really blossoming as a senior. They think he's elite. Likely flip from UF.

Flips from these train wreck SEC schools should be easy for us haha. Just need A&M to crash and burn and make a horrible hire so we can get Brown.

Ha. Thta's ironic that you both posted that about Copeland, as I didn't even read this page before replying about him in my other post.

Also, I've heard nothing about this from anybody, but just putting two and two together, I would guess that it wouldn't be a shock if we let Xavier Williams go elsewhere if he's not made the desired progress in catching the ball (in order to make room for Copeland). Again, nobody has mentioned this and it's only a guess on my end. He could be killing it this season for all I know. The insiders seem to be pretty quiet on him either way.

Emerson looks like a solid DL.

Not with this board as we can go ahead and discuss the 2020 QB recruit that will come in and challenge Tua and beat him out.

Pretty much shows all some of you care about is rankings.

If you have the number 1 class for 6 years straight then struggle on the 7th one it is okay to point this out. Recruiting is extremely important. It is okay to say recruiting has dropped off this year.

Why is this so hard to grasp?

What is so hard to grasp that it is still October and there is another 3 key months until the last signing day?

You know what just jump of the ledge.

It’s not hard to grasp. Anyone besides these sidewalks that have shown up lately knew this was going to be a smaller class and wouldn’t be a #1 class. But the whining, crying and gnashing of teeth has become unbearable.
I will do the proverbial “Saban knows what he is doing “ since it’s been a proven commodity.
