With Luke Ford visiting this weekend I hope we at least target the TEs a few times against Arkansas.

He was considered a potential signee for our class before he got kicked out of EMCC.

There's some serious character concerns with him.

Apparently he is off the board due to those concerns.

So I've decided to throw out a class prediction on a slow night. Feel free to do the same.

I know nobody in here will believe this and will cite Rivals, Scout, 247, etc.. to me, but I don't believe Ford has a spot right now.

They still want DWA very badly (consider him the best TE in the country by a wide margin). And might not even go after Ford if they don't get DWA.

Things could change, I guess. But, I'd say that they won't sign a TE if they miss on DWA. I personally like Ford, as several of you do. None of this is my opinion. It comes from 3 different people. Maybe he'll ball out in one of the All-Star games and things change. But they really like all 5 TEs on the roster now (with all 5 coming back next year), and need the spot for an extra DL or DB.

FWIW, I believe Jobe's stock has dipped just a bit this year. I believe Tyson Campbell is #1 on the board, just ahead of Surtain. I haven't heard about where Kelvin Joseph is on the board. But I feel confident on the other guys I mentioned. Also, it will be interesting to see if they take Keith Washington, the Juco I mentioned the other day, if they miss on a couple guys. Or he may continue balling out and force his way up the list.

FWIW, you listed Jordan Davis as both a DL and LB. Which is probably what will happen with him in his true freshman season at Bama, as I'm sure he'll bounce around positions a few times.

And I'd be shocked if Joiner is in our class.

Any knock on Caleb Tremblay? looks like a beast. You never know what your going to get from Juco's. Some people are forgetting about Jarez Parks in this years class

I took him out of the LB group so it wouldn't be confusing, but he could play there if need be.

And who is the little bitch that would downvote a class prediction?

It wasn't me but it was probably someone trying to upvote but fat fingering it and hitting downvote. It happens to me on here regularly.

As far as DBs, what about Horn or Dean being back in play after Tennessee burns to the ground?

They have a couple of in-state DTs that I like too. Lawless and Emerson.

I think his Baylor experience ended his career as a head coach.

I guess there's always the possibility that Miller is trying to top Mack Wilson as the biggest troll ever.
