Neither did his conversations with the coaching staff over the weekend.
Martin, rated as the No. 10 weak-side defensive end nationally, said he was highly impressed by what the Texas A&M coaching staff discussed with him - and how honest they were, not feeding him lines but telling him exactly how they envisioned him in the program.
“The truth,” Martin said. “Something you’ll actually want to hear about playing your freshman year and goals they have set for me.”
As for other official visits, Martin has said he wants to take trips to Alabama, Colorado and Oregon. UCLA, USC, Utah and many others remain involved his recruitment.

“Alabama is a big school. It would be wonderful to get that (offer).”
So far, Flowe has landed offers from Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, San Diego State, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington State.
The 2020 standout said the Bruins have been recruiting him the hardest. USC should also be watched closely since Flowe has visited there as well.
“I have a lot of contact with (UCLA),” Flowe said. “I go to UCLA a lot so I just talk to them a lot.
“USC is a tradition. It’s big. All their games are big. It was really wonderful.”

JW wouldn't be a huge pick up, if that who eveyone is talking about. Didn't Bama almost flip him back in the summer, before recommiting to Kentucky?
I don't think any QB signed in this class will be at Bama very long.

If you had been in here about 30 minutes ago you'd be pretty happy.
That really sucks. I'm usually in here reading updates regularly. Oh well I guess I'll just wait and see. It just feels like we couldn't buy a DL right now.

Its completely mental to think we arent struggling in recruiting right now. I know the coaching changes hurt us the most but I wonder if our brand isnt exciting like it was some years ago.

That's a pretty exciting brand, and it hasn't changed.

Well, we have two 5 stars, a couple high 4 stars/borderline 5 stars, and a few other 4 stars privately committed right now. So to say we're struggling would make us the most spoiled fanbase in the history of the world in any sport.
Do we need to finish strong at DL (where some of it is yet to be seen who it will be)? Sure. But I'm sure we will. Jarez Parks and Stephon Wynn is a great start. And we will knock it out of the park with DB recruiting (we almost can't help but do it).
It's really fine, people.

All I can say we have flipped many recruits through the years. We have won it 7 yrs in a row . Probably won’t this year. But I said after we won out on Rahsaan Evans and Dashawn Hand, that I will never doubt Sabin again . As far as I’m concerned all these 3!stars are better than there ratings. Ratings mean nothing. We will have a top 5 class. FAITH!!!

Also look at Jacobs we took late a couple years ago. 3 star. Would be a starter on any other team.

Who are we referring to? I dont always believe in silent verbals, they are often rumors. But that sounds exciting

The diamonds in the rough are great, however statistically speaking 5 stars are more likely to have great success at a faster rate. It dosent always work though

Honestly, that 2 star DT from Philly that Saint linked earlier is a beast. That's another lower ranked (probably won't be for long now that everyone is offering suddenly) guy that I wouldn't mind us getting.

I'll post the list of guys that I have heard (from very reliable people... it's the same ones I always refer to) we feel REALLY REALLY good about (Hint hint) at 4:20 Central. I'll delete the list by 4:30. I'm sure I'm not including everyone. It's just the ones that I've seen posted. Of course, guys we feel REALLY REALLY good about (Hint hint) frequently (just like public ones) don't pan out. But it will be the list as best as I've seen.
