These Washington State uniforms are gorgeous.

I'd like to see USC and Clemson go down this weekend.

Hard to believe two brothers could be so good at QB. Their accuracy and arm is unreal. Tua and Little Tua are special.
REC doing work getting that family to move to Alabama.

Not sure how good VT is yet (we'll find out tomorrow), but they'll be a force to be reckoned with over the next few years with Fuente there, IMO. He's a very good coach.

I agree with you, we really need Clemson to drop a game.

Watch them lose to Cleveland State or someone similar, yet still win the ACC.

I just wanted to say Cobrasize was right in suggesting you'd be a good addition to our board.
You're funny, realistic and a good dude overall.

Quay Walker told KN last night he plans on being at AU today and is 70% committed to Bama
Sure that will sit well with Saban

Local CBS affiliate
Local Fox/NBC affiliate.
Not sure on stats. I know he only had 4 carries for 2 TDs at the half. Kept throwing the RPO all night long.

Meh. We've had kids do this in the past. I don't know if Alabama holds on to him, but I'd be more worried about "110% committed" comments.

Low Snap turned into a 1st down.
A play that wasn't on the news. One of those that doesn't show up on the stat sheet, but makes a huge difference.

Damn he's fast.
If you don't mind me asking, how exactly are you related to him? Brother's kid? Sister's kid? In-laws kid?

Jackson-Olin's 33-13 victory Friday night for over Calera was highlighted by big plays and big performances.
The game saw two 100-plus-yard performers in DeAndre Carlton for the Mustangs (4-1, 1-1) and QuinDarius Crews for Calera, along with a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown from Jackson-Olin's ZaKiyah Johnson.
Despite those stellar performances, though, Jackson-Olin lagged behind Calera with 296 total yards to Eagles' 379 -- led by Cornelious Brown's 285 passing yards. The difference came through the help of Jackson-Olin's inspired defensive play, which forced three fumbles and one interception.
Jackson-Olin scored on the first drive of the game, when kicker Kaba Condeconnected on a 27-yard field goal to take the 3-0 lead. The Mustangs scored again on a 40-yard touchdown run from Carlton and then a 5-yard touchdown run from Coynis Miller to get out to an early 13-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Jackson-Olin stretched its lead in the second quarter on a 29-yard touchdown pass from Braylan Johnson to AJ Toney.
Calera gained some momentum in the second quarter after scoring twice as ZaKiyah Johnson returned a kickoff for a 99-yard touchdown and then Brown connected with Crews on a 52-yard touchdown pass.
The third quarter was highlighted by Carlton's 74-yard touchdown run on the first possession of the second half, and the Mustangs scored one last time with a 24-yard field goal from Conde in the fourth quarter.
Coachspeak: "I thought we came out with a lot of intensity tonight. We came out ready to play. At the half, I told our kids, 'Don’t panic after they scored twice before the half.' I’m very proud of our kids for coming out and playing hard tonight like they did to get this win. DeAndre is a talented kid. He doesn't need much to hit the holes and make a big play." -- Jackson-Olin coach Tim Vakakes
They said it ... : "We played great tonight after a good wk of practice. I jump cut to the left, hit the big holes that my o-line made, and raced to the end zone. We can’t let this win get to our head. We still have to practice hard and get better each day." Carlton
"We had too many mistakes and we gave up too many big plays tonight. You can’t do that against a good team like J.O. I have to figure out how to make this team better. We have good practices for bad games. We have to learn how to prepare for games so we can win games this year." -- Calera coach Andrew Zow

Central-Phenix City's Justyn Ross caught a touchdown pass and returned a punt for a touchdown, and the defense recorded two safeties in a 46-19 victory over visiting Opelika.
It was the 75th meeting between the two schools.
“This victory, against the team that has been our biggest rival since I have been here, will be a good one to celebrate for 24 hours,” Central coach Jamey DuBose said. “After that, we begin thinking about Enterprise.”
Central took a 7-0 lead when Amontae Spivey scored on 4-yard run 1:06 remaining in that first quarter. Central went up 14-0 when Ross, the state's top college recruit, hauled in a 43-yard touchdown pass from Peter Parrishwith 1:52 to go in the half.
Ross finished with three catches for 74 yards with a touchdown and two punt returns for 67 yards with a touchdown.

In the third quarter, Ross returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown for a 23-6 advantage.
Central added another touchdown in the third quarter when Parrish connected with Jamaar Spivey on an 8-yard touchdown pass to make the score 30-6.
Backup quarterback Tyler Melton came in to start the final quarter and connected with Derrick Moore on a 56-yard touchdown pass.
After Opelika cut the margin to 37-12, Central got another safety when Opelika snapped the ball out of the end zone with 6:15 to play, making the score 39-12. Then Dominick Scott scored on a 5-yard run with 3:20 to play to finish Central's scoring for the night at 46-12.

It's time Hewitt-Trussville’s defense gets some attention, too.
Paul Tyson completed 19-of-30 passes for 185 yards and three touchdowns, and Army commit Elliott McElwain had eight carries for 42 yards and seven catches for 102 yards and a touchdown to pace an offense that rolled up 406 yards.
The defense, though, recorded two safeties, and Trevor Sisk returned an interception for a touchdown.
Hewitt-Trussville also shut out Buckhorn last week and has allowed just seven points in the last three weeks and 59 points all season.
The Huskies travel to Bob Jones next week.
