Slade with 2 passing and 1 rushing TD. Up 29-0 at the half. He's done for the night at halftime.

Great stats and got through the game without an injury. Perfect outcome

Lil Tua has Thompson up on Mountain Brook 40-0.

Harold Joiner is supposedly wearing Clemson gloves in the game.

Lil Tua must be the real deal. Damn.
Hoover is up 14-10 on Spain Park and driving

Edit: I have an irrational dislike for Josh Niblett

Grissom should really have better teams than they do.

I played at Grissom when it first opened, 1970-72. 1st season we had no seniors and only a few juniors, because they had the option to finish at Huntsville HS even though they lived in the new Grissom zone. In 1970 we only had a JV team. 1972 was the first year we were elligible to play a 4A (that was top level back then) schedule. Errbody wanted to play us, thinking we'd be a newby cupcake.

I played "Monster Man" (hybrid SS/OLB) and made all D play calls (coverages, stunts & blitzes) without any signals from the sidelines. I knew the DC since I was a young kid. He took me under his wing and taught me like I was his own son. We studied film and game planned together. He knew I would call exactly what he would call.

In '72 we played a very tough schedule and we beat and shut out every opponent except Butler, who beat us 12-8. Our defense was so lights out it scored in almost every game. So we just played ultra conservative ball control offense. We beat Lanier 7-6 in Crampton Bowl in the 1st round of the playoffs. They had a great FG kicker. We blocked both of their FG tries and PAT. I bocked two of those kicks.

We lost in the 2nd round to Decatur, in pouring down rain, who then beat Butler for the state championship. Decatur had three tall fast as hell WRs and a QB with an accurate canon arm.

Could it be the skin tight shirts he wears on the sideline?

That's one of many possible reasons. I also don't like the flat bill hat look
I can't stand him

Spain Park just took the lead 24-17. About 3 minutes left in the 3rd

At least get your son to do the pool chores (when his arm gets better). My kid looks suspiciously like the pool boy we hired.
