Bei Jing is pretty good but it's a no frills type place.
In my experience the ones who misspell everything on their menus are the ones you want to frequent.
Yeah their storefront looks like a tornado went through there, but the food is usually legit.

Nice. I miss the shrimp egg rolls from a tiny hole in the wall in my hometown called Great Wall. They were amazing.

So says he grew up an Alabama fan. Attends school nearby. He's at a position of need and Alabama is recruiting him hardest. But names Florida leader. Makes sense.
Auburn is hard after him too, a lot of analysts who cover AU believe(d) he was a near lock to AU
Hard to see him leaving the state w/ both Bama/AU putting the blitz on him

Miller maintains that Alabama is recruiting him the hardest FWIW.
And then he says he has a great relationship with the DL coaches at UF and AU but doesn't talk to Dunbar very often. Does't sound like we're recruiting him all that hard if his position coach isn't in his ear to me. Sounds like we're either slow playing him or Saban needs to tell Dunbar to get off his arse and start recruiting.

Always hard to gauge what recruits mean by "recruiting the hardest"
There are a lot of times guys we know AU makes priority #1, ends up getting the commit but never listed as "schools recruiting me the hardest"
I almost wonder if it is more "These schools act the most desperate" vs "These schools are talking to me a lot but don't need huge gestures"

All I know is that if Dunbar is not talking to him much it means either: a)We are slow playing to see what guys higher on our board do. b)Dunbar is a crappy recruiter and we need to replace him ASAP.

One of the state's top defensive prospects has a current leader.
Jackson-Olin defensive lineman Coynis Miller confirmed to AL.com what he told to 247Sports earlier Tuesday that Florida is now atop his list.
Last week, Miller said that Florida and Auburn had separated themselves from a pack that also includes Alabama, Oregon and Louisville.
The 6-foot-2, 300-pound Miller is a four-star recruit, ranked No. 157 nationally. He will soon be profiled in the AL.com A-List.
Florida was Miller's last visit. He raved about the school and his relationship with defensive line coach Chris Rumph.
"I loved it when I went up there," Miller said. "The coaches showed a lot of love, showing me around and showing me how they do things. Real good (relationship with Rumph). I talk to him just about every day. He just hit me up a couple of hours ago (last Thursday), telling me to have a good day and a good practice."
Florida's lead over Auburn is "not that wide," Miller said.
Miller said he hasn't scheduled any visits yet and said he needed to check his team's schedule with that of college teams. Miller will likely make his decision after the season, and plans to sign in February on National Signing Day.
He will make official visits to his top five schools if they continue recruiting him, he said last week. The biggest reason Miller had Florida and Auburn in his top two was the relationship with the defensive line coaches.

QB — Emory Jones
Jones, a 4-star prospect from Heard County High School (Franklin, Ga.) is committed to Ohio State, but he has continued to flirt with Alabama. He took a secret visit to Tuscaloosa last month, which he initially denied, only to come clean about it a few weeks after the fact.
There are some rumblings that his family would prefer Jones to stay in the South instead of moving to Ohio for school. That certainly favors Alabama; however, he’s taken three trips to Columbus, which is a significant amount for someone who doesn’t live around the corner from the college owning his commitment. I think Jones’ heart is with the Buckeyes, and it would be a surprise if he flipped his commitment.
If Alabama doesn’t land Tanner McKee or Jones, quarterback recruiting in the 2018 class will be a total unknown. At that point, the Tide may look to add a walk-on prospect.

WR — Justin Watkins
Watkins recently told SEC Country that he’s down to Alabama, Florida and LSU. In my predictions, I have Alabama closing out the class with Justyn Ross and Jaylen Waddle, in addition to current Tide commit Xavier Williams. Watkins is being recruited as a slot receiver, which is where Waddle is pegged. Waddle is the top slot target in the 2018 class, so if he ends up choosing the Tide, there won’t be space for Watkins. Waddle’s recruitment is shaping up to be an Alabama, Florida State and Texas battle, so if he chooses either of the latter two, Watkins would take his spot in my projections.

OL — Nicholas Petit-Frere, William Barnes, Emil Ekiyor
Petit-Frere is Alabama’s top offensive tackle target. His recruitment is shaping up to be an Alabama, Florida and Notre Dame race. Sources close to the Florida program believe the Gators have the best chance of landing him as of today. The Crimson Tide staff knows it will have to fight to land his commitment.
Barnes is high on Alabama’s wish list, but it would be shocking if he committed to any school other than Florida.
Ekiyor is committed to Michigan, but he’s one of Alabama’s top offensive guard targets. He visited last month for the Champions Cookout, and there’s some thought that he’s not 100 percent solid to the Wolverines. I have Penei Sewell rounding out the Tide’s offensive line class in my projections. Sewell and Ekiyor are both being recruited as guards. If Sewell opts for Oregon, Ekiyor would take his spot.
So sources say Florida has the best chance to land him, yet the Florida mod left him out of his class projection for the Gators two days ago. Hmm.

DL — Coynis Miller
It was hard leaving Miller out of the projections. Alabama has recruited Miller the hardest in going head to head with Auburn and Florida — the schools that are the biggest threats to the Tide at this time.
Miller said in a recent interview that Auburn and Florida are the two schools standing out the most to him, as of this time. He hasn’t visited Tuscaloosa recently, so that could be the reason for his answer. He’s expected to take an official visit to Alabama this fall when the team will look to swing momentum.
I'll be extremely pissed if we miss on Miller.

LB — Andres Fox, KJ Henry, Micah Parsons, Quay Walker
Fox is down to Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Stanford. Alabama is going to have a loaded linebacker class this year, and I don’t think there’s going to be room for Fox to jump on board.
I was really close to including Henry in my projections, and I may do so after he takes his official visit to Alabama this fall. This recruitment is likely an Alabama-Clemson race, though he won’t say that publicly. He’s visited Tuscaloosa several times and is already comfortable there.
Parsons visited Tuscaloosa for three days last month, but his recruitment is too much of a mystery to predict at this point. Interestingly enough, Jeremy Birmingham, who covers Ohio State recruiting for our Land of 10 site, didn’t project Parsons to sign with the Buckeyes. There are some off-field concerns with Parsons and multiple teams recruiting him.
Walker is currently committed to Alabama, so it was clearly difficult to leave him off the list. Out of the current Tide commitments, he’s the least locked in one out of the 10. He’s expressed his desire to take visits elsewhere, and Auburn and Florida State are pushing hard for a flip. It wouldn’t surprise me either way when it comes to him sticking with his commitment or flipping.

Saban gets recruiting reports from his coaches every day and knows what they're doing and how they're doing it. You can bet your arse it's being handled the way Saban wants it to be handled.
This is why I've stopped worrying about recruiting and enjoyed the process more.

DB — Jaycee Horn, Kelvin Joseph
Horn is off this list mainly because of who I projected Alabama to sign at corner. Those players are ahead of him on the board right now. If they go elsewhere, Horn could have a spot in this class.
Joseph is committed to LSU. At one point, it seemed like a flip to Alabama was inevitable. That doesn’t seem very likely anymore, although the Tide are pushing for Joseph.

Ranking the uncommitted prospects in projection
In my most recent notebook, I outlined my confidence rankings for the uncommitted prospects in my offensive projection. Let’s do the same thing for the defensive side of the ball.
There were 12 people in the defensive projection. Half of them have yet to publicly declare a school of choice. Daquan Newkirk, Michael Harris, Monday, Marsh, Fuqua and Sherwood are the committed prospects, and that didn’t alter in the projection.
But for the six new guys, there was a range of confidence to include them. Here’s how that ranks.
No. 6: Caleb Johnson
No. 5: Andres Fox
No. 4: Zakoby McClain
No. 3: Derek Turner
No. 2: Coynis Miller
No. 1: Richard Jibunor

OT Jean Delance, a kid we recruited pretty hard, has been granted his release from Texas.

It's been another busy week of commitments, including some significant ones, so let’s take a look at the most important since my last column eight days ago.
1. OT Darrell Simpson, Oklahoma: A great pickup and now part of a great 1-2-3 punch at offensive tackle for the Sooners. This kid could be better than Brey Walker before his career is over, his ceiling is that high.
2. WR Kevin Austin, Notre Dame: A big, fast receiver with a great catch radius and the ability to make tough catches, Austin could be a home run if he just gets more physical and uses his size better.
3. WR Elijah Moore, Georgia: Speed, speed and more speed. Moore can show flashes of dominance but needs to be more consistent. However, he will make UGA much faster on offense.
4. DT Keondre Coburn, Texas: An athletic defensive tackle, he’s not only going to stuff the run, but he will push the pocket even though he’s not overly long. His quickness will be key for the Longhorns in the middle soon enough.
5. DT Aeneas Hawkins, Penn State: PJ Mustipher made my list last week, and now Hawkins follows suit. The interior defensive line is getting a big boost in State College with these two. Hawkins is more of a natural pass rusher than Mustipher.
6). OG Jarrett Bell, Alabama: Bell reminds me of Braden Smith at Auburn at the same stage. He's an athletic, muscled up lineman who is a bit raw but has an amazing ceiling.
7. TE Malcolm Epps, Texas: I’m not as high on Epps as some others, but he’s a great addition. Fellow Texas tight end pledge Dominick Anderson can be immediate help while Epps comes along.
8. WR Cameron Brown, Nebraska: Brown's second commitment to Nebraska should stick, and he is yet another prospect who brings speed to the table, something key for the Huskers to take the next step.
9. RB Ta’Zhawn Henry, TCU: He’s not big, so let’s get past that, but he’s great in space, he can catch the ball and he’s perfect for a spread offense.
10. RB Craig Williams, Baylor: Another small back who plays bigger than his size and can do things in the passing game as well.

Running Back - Bo Scarbrough
The skinny: Scarbrough rushed for 1,118 yards and 16 touchdowns at IMG in 2013. He committed to Alabama at the beginning of his junior season, but then took official visits to Notre Dame, UCLA and Ole Miss during his senior campaign. Both Ole Miss and Florida State became serious threats at one point, but Scarbrough ultimately stuck with his word and signed with the Tide. After a relatively slow start to his sophomore season, Scarbrough became one of the top backs in the country over the last two months of the 2016 season with 354 yards and 6 touchdowns against Auburn, Florida, Washington and Clemson.
Farrell’s take: Scarbrough was a beast out of high school, one of the most physically dominant players I’ve seen, and a guy who could have been a tight end or even a big wide out as well as a running back. Alternatively, put him on defense and he would kill people. It’s no surprise he’s had to wait his turn at Alabama, but this could be a huge year for him.
