All I know is we better sign some DT's and CB's in this class...or we better be ready to outscore everyone the next couple of years. Shocked we don't have several committed already. DT's and CB's should be begging to get on the train with our depth chart in 2018.

ESPNU is airing seldom seen sports today. They are "ESPN 8: The Ocho" all day long.

Agreed. Solomon to Michigan last year is probably the saltiest I've been in a long time about recruiting.

Does anyone here live in Prattville?
If so, what neighborhoods should I be focusing on?

Agreed. Pair that with the possibility of missing out on Coynis Miller if he chooses Auburn... it just shows recruiting top level Defensive Tackles is the hardest thing to do right now, even when you're Alabama.

Quay Walker's coach told BOL we were still at the "forefront" for Quay.

McDonogh 35 standout safety Joe Foucha is working through the recruiting process, dwindling his list of potential suitors to 7 on Monday.
LSU, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Kansas, Arizona State and Arkansas were the teams that made the cut for the physical 5-feet-11, 195-pound safety. Foucha received his offer from LSU in June, which changed up his recruitment a good bit, according to Foucha.
Foucha has not released a timetable for his decision, with his goal of taking multiple official visits likely to be achieved this fall.

Amite defensive tackle Ishmael Sopsher comes in at No. 2
Halfway through his freshman year at Amite High School, a then 6-feet-3, 260-pound Ishmael Sopsher started garnering attention from the nation's top programs, and less than two years later Sopsher had accumulated offers from the likes of LSU, Alabama, Florida State and others, and is widely considered to be one of the top prospects in the country. Rivals.com slotted Sopsher as the No. 2 overall prospect in the country, regardless of position, which is the highest mark any prospect from the state has reached since the initial 2018 rankings, which saw University High linebacker Dylan Moses claim the top spot.

Dunham cornerback Derek Stingley finally gets the credit he deserves
Coming in at No. 18 overall, Derek Stingley is in striking distance of becoming a five-star down the road, and is currently listed as the No. 1 cornerback in the country by the Rivals staff. The former LSU commitment is looking at LSU, Alabama, Florida State, Florida and many others.

Amite's Devonta Lee claims the No. 30 overall spot in the country
Lee has been one of the nation's top-ranked receivers since the rankings were first being published, and remains among the top now that the networks are expanding and updating their projections. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound receiver could basically pick his school, with offers from many of the nation's premier programs already being extended.

PROSPECTS RANKED NOS. 101-110
quote:
CB Brandon Turnage
“Turnage is a big cornerback who plays physical and aggressive. He is one I really want to see play live this fall against a top wide receiver. His film is good, he has great size and he is a very intriguing cornerback, but he could also project as a safety on the next level. It is likely to turn into an in-state battle for Turnage, but outside of Ole Miss and Mississippi State, also on his radar are Alabama, Georgia and LSU.” – Chad Simmons, Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst
This is the kid who is supposedly really good friends with Nigel Knott.

QB Michael Johnson Jr.
“Johnson is a fantastic dual-threat quarterback who almost cannot be caught in the open field and regularly runs away from defenders on the second level. The four-star can sit in the pocket and deliver passes all over the field, too, and he’s phenomenal at prolonging plays by dodging the blitz, moving around the pocket and then finding open receivers. Because he’s such a great runner, defenders always seem on their heels and can never keep him contained. Oregon has to be considered the frontrunner since his father is on the coaching staff.” - Gorney

OT Warren McClendon
“McClendon was pulling in top offers as a freshman in high school. Alabama was the first school to offer him and he has pulled in over 20 more since. He has had multiple family members play at Georgia, so the in-state Bulldogs are considered the team to beat. He has natural size with good feet and agility for an offensive lineman still with two years of high school left. He is likely a right tackle in college, but could be a good guard as well.” – Simmons
