He never posted on our board, only the SECRb, which I thought was weird.

Got called out on the SECrb?
You could say that.

This site really is the best. The weak and thin skinned get weeded out pretty quick. It's amazing

Anyone have a clue on interior DL in this class? Other than Coynis Miller? It seems to be a moving board more than ever.

Bobby Brown is probably the top DT on the board. Tart-Spencer is up there.

I thought we'd take 4 true DL. Looks more like two combo guys. And some tweeners that could play Jack or grow into a 3-4 DE.

Do we have an updated list for the champions cookout next weekend?

What Rodney Orr and a few other guys are saying is that the number of DL or TEs we take has to do with which of the position groups win the prize of Kedrick James. He's worked with the TEs this Summer, but is also being considered for DL as well. They absolutely love him. So if he stays at TE, add one more DLman. If he's a DL, it's VERY likely we'd try to take both Wood-Anderson and Luke Ford. Good chance we only take 1 TE otherwise.
This is off the subject of DL recruiting or the Cookout, but here is my wish list for OL recruiting. Assuming we take 3, but 4 is possible. (I hope only 3 due to numbers needs at other positions, namely DL and DB).
OT- Nicholas Petit-Frere
OL- Penei Sewell
OT- Kwatrivious Johnson
With the next 3 preferences being (in order) William Barnes, Tommy Brown, and Emil Ekiyor (or however he spells it... too lazy to look it up now). That article TideSaint posted about Petit-Frere blew me away. That, combined with his awesome upside make me want him more than any OL in the country). Sewell will make a beast of a guard, IMO, and might can be a really good RT. Reminds me a lot of Jedrick Wills, who is drawing rave reviews this Summer (for what they can actually gather on an OL in the Summer... which puzzles me a bit. But he's being mentioned by everybody.). As for Johnson, I'm kind of taking our coaching staff's eval here over my own. He apparently was dominant at our camp, and we seem to want him very badly.

I was really surprised James was listed at 275, he definitely has the size to be a lineman.

Johnson reminded me when Sherril at Miss State had huge lineman. I remember they had a 6'9 center.

For most of this summer, Austin four-star running back Asa Martin has had a clear top three.
Monday, he'll decide if Clemson will enter the mix.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Martin will make the trip to see the defending national champions. His mother will join him. Clemson has not offered, but he's expecting it on the trip.
Alabama, Auburn and Florida make up Martin's top three, with his planned commitment date of Aug. 24.
"They're not added to (the top group) yet," Martin said Thursday at the USA Football 7on7 national championships in Hoover. "They've got to show me the same thing other schools have. I've been talking to them, but I don't really have a good relationship yet. My mom has to be comfortable."
It's a hectic time for Martin, and he said he's hearing from coaches nonstop while also taking a summer class so he can graduate in December. Martin has visited Ole Miss, but the Rebels won't be a factor.
Martin will visit Alabama on Friday and Auburn Saturday for their respective recruiting events.
Here's what he said about his finalists on Thursday.
AUBURN: "The school has probably been recruiting me the longest. It feels like home around there. I have a great relationship with (offensive coordinator) Coach (Chip) Lindsey and (running backs) Coach (Tim) Horton. What they do on offense is one of the best fits for me because we run some of the same stuff at Austin."
ALABAMA: "The thing with them, it's the mecca of college football. They're going to be in the position to win a national championship every year and they send their guys to the NFL. That's what helps most about them."
FLORIDA: "My relationship with (assistant) Coach (JaJuan) Seider is probably the biggest asset with them. I love it in Gainesville too. It's a very nice town. It's beautiful. Me living in Florida gives them a little up too, living there last year (going to IMG Academy)."
Martin will visit his three finalists once more before his commitment. No one has separated themselves, he said.
"Everybody's about even," Martin said. "If I knew where I was going, I'd go ahead and get it over with. The recruiting process is long and tiring."
All three are recruiting Martin at running back. He has worked some in the slot at Alabama's camp. Martin said that none of the schools have mentioned defense, though he also plays safety for Austin.
Tournament play starts on Saturday morning, with games at the Hoover Met and Hoover Soccer Fields. Martin and Austin face Thompson at 9 a.m. at the soccer fields in their first double-elimination game.

Can someone educate me on the city of Montgomery?
An opportunity has presented itself down there for me to move and work at Gunter AFB.
Where are the best places to live that also have good schools?
I've only visited there a few times over the years so I don't know much about the metro area sans the two bases and the downtown area.

I don't know a lot about Montgomery, but I've never heard anything bad about Prattville.
