He does podcasts with Drew Champlin for football and he's seemingly always right when he hints at stuff on twitter about football and basketball.

A couple things he gave hints about that no one else knew was coming: Sark leaving and Braxton Key entering the draft

Wynn has a new flat bill Bama hat on his table along with a very old ugly UGA hat and a South Carolina hat that isn't a flat bill. That right there shows he's Bama all day

Listening to the Doobie Brothers and trying to hurry and get work done outside before the rain must be good luck

That's exactly who I thought of when I watch his highlights last night.

Yeah, I'm with you on the "no 330+ lbs types". But someone that could develop into somewhat of a Payne type (size-wise) or as close to it as possible in this class that can be over 300 and dominate in the very middle of the line. Maybe Brown, Tart-Spencer, or Miller could all eventually fill that spot, though. I don't know what their projections are weight-wise in a couple years.

I think Coynis Miller has the frame to hold 325 pounds and still be fast. He's a beast. I still scratch my head at his ranking every time I see his profile.

Yep. There are a few head scratcher rankings every year. Last year, Chris Allen and Kedrick James were two of them. (James is already turning heads in 7 on 7, according to many).

This year, Miller is right at the top of the list. How he's not a national top 50 type is beyond me. He seems to have it all. Measurables, production at a high level HS classification. I'm stumped.

Alabama landed a big commitment both literally and figuratively on Saturday in four-star defensive end Stephon Wynn.

“Alabama is one of the best places in the country,” Wynn told 247Sports’ Jake Rowe following his announcement. “As soon as we got into Tuscaloosa (on June 10), it was just a different feel than anywhere else in the country. Coach (Karl) Dunbar is a great defensive line coach; he coached 11 years in the league. So I’m going to get NFL experience from the coaching in college.”

Wynn chose the Tide over fellow SEC foes Georgia and South Carolina.

“As soon as I left,” Wynn said of when he knew he would commit to Alabama. “As soon as I got back home me and my parents talked and they asked if that was what I wanted to do. I want to have a chance to play in the NFL and be successful. I want to win ball games. I want to have fun. I want to have the chance to be something my dad taught me to be.”

The South Carolina native, who is currently enrolled at IMG Academy in Florida, said Georgia finished No. 2 for his commitment.

“If I didn’t go visit Alabama, I’d be committed to Georgia right now,” Wynn said. “At the end of the day I feel Alabama is the best place for me.”

Should Bama fans expect Wynn to continue taking visits elsewhere?

“Right now at this point I’m done,” he said. “At IMG I really don’t have any time to take any visits. I might have a couple weeks for an official visit, but as of right now I’m done. I’m Alabama.”

At 6-foot-4, 285 pounds, Wynn is rated the No. 5 strong-side defensive end and the No. 104 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

Top247 defensive end Cameron Latu will return to Tuscaloosa later this month. USC is the Crystal Ball favorite but Alabama is perhaps the program to beat.

South Carolina coach Will Muschamp is personally recruiting five-star defensive end K.J. Henry, the only head coach to do so, but Alabama and 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite Clemson continue to look like the favorites. Virginia Tech, Ohio State and Georgia are also in the mix.
