I won't feel shocked no matter where Quay Walker goes. Nor do I feel any anxiety about his decision. It'll be announced within three days.

If he ultimately decides Bama is the best place for him, then welcome aboard. If not, then best wishes to him. Either way, Bama will win.

ETA: Walker could shock lots of people -- if he signs with his "dream school" on Wednesday.

I finally watched some of Moody's highlights, his aggressive play is like:

Quay Walker is just gravy at this point, not really gonna be shocked or disappointed either...

Yeah Moody hits like a truck and looks like he runs fairly well side to side. He's got good size too. Not sure why he didn't get better offers unless he just never went to any camps or he's likely headed to a JuCo.

Yeah, his film looks pretty dang good. Instinctive. Reads and reacts quickly. Takes good positions and pursuit angles as plays develop and closes fast. Avoids and sheds blockers well. Tackling technique needs some improvement, but that's coachable. Head hunter -- lays the damn wood. Good blitzer and solid in pass coverage too. Ball hawk, with good yards after catch. Took a couple picks to the house.

Surge posted something a few pages ago about his HC thinking his grades weren't gonna look pretty. Apparently they ended up ok.

He looks like he could be on the opening day coverage unit at worst. He can run, and he can hit.

Josh Newberg is on a CB spree.

He just CB'd Patrick Surtain to LSU and Jaylen Waddle to Alabama.

Is he usually accurate? I’ve heard the name but not sure how connected he is.

I think Rivals has made it a goal to not choose anyone to go to Alabama. I mean sheesh they chose other teams for pretty much all of our current major targets

Came across beauty of a thread a day ago. Probably has been shared already, but still some great melts.

quote:

That's a total of 39 lineman on both sides of the ball. Alabama has 41 in that same span of time. Depth shouldn't be an issue. Now, we've lost a lot of guys to the NFL but 2013 players would still be eligible today, had they stayed. They've also converted a lot of big TEs to Lineman. Depth is an issue but it's not because of Miles. I sure wish we could have kept all our in-state talent, but it has nothing to do with Miles. Miles recruited top talent. Once he left, a ton transferred out. That's not on Miles. It has everything to do with Alabama dishing out new rides to cruits and somehow avoiding being investigated. $$$$

quote:

In that same span of time, Alabama has signed 41 lineman to LSU's 39. 2 more lineman. They're just better at shoving under-the-table money to players and have them put off the NFL to stay longer.

quote:

Translation and filetered bullshite: Kicker- "nobody had really heard of me. I just decided to go to bama" Shyheim Carter- "I went to bama because of a barber and some handlers. Turns out I wasn't that good to begin with" Christopher Allen- "I went to bama under the misconception that, although lsu has the most players in the pros, corch Saban only produces pros." Cam sims- "I just got offered so they could get Cam Robinson." Dylan Moses- "I was going to bama the whole time. It was a ruse that was fabricated by my father who lives vicariously through me. Once the truth was exposed, I transferred to IMG to avoid any backlash." Devonta Smith- "Sam Pettito, a barber and a bagman" Eddie Lacy-"I was never going to qualify and everyone backed off. Luckily, corch Saban got me enrolled in the JT Curtis maymester class and I was able to bring up my entire high school GPA and ACT. That has expanded my BMI." Phidarian Mathis- "are y'all buying that shite that no one ever called? I was going Bama the whole time." Cam Robinson- "my dad suddenly got involved in my life when I made all American. I think he got a red charger out of this." Hootie- "I got the black charger" Landon Collins-"they gave my girlfriend a job and a Mercedes. What was I supposed to do? Oh, and my mom and my half brother? HAH! GOT EEMMMM!"

quote:

That's why I don't understand how they haven't been investigated. They have players that would go in the first round, who are holding off. The cars, the money, the wiped-away arrests. Something stinks, and idk how they get away with it

quote:

Luther Davis = failure Hootie Jones = failure Cam Sims = failure. I see what the writer of this article is trying to do. BuckFama. FUSABAN

quote:

Lsu is rated much higher than Alabama academically!

quote:

I hope all the traitors who went to Bama fail terribly and have the worst luck possible.

We got another CB for Jaylen Waddle.

The main Miami mod CB'd Tyson Campbell to Georgia.
